This series is enjoyable, but nothing really standout. One thing I must say, Pond and Phuwin is really a visual couple. Like those two are gorgeous! I just hope they do more acting workshops because they are lacking in that department.

All GMMTV series bl and non-bl is unavailable/geo blocked in YouTube for Thai fans because it’s being shown in gmm25 live. Both MSP and NLMG is unavailable in Youtube Thailand. We watch it in tv channel 25 (cable) or on GMM25 website/app.
Don't understand why gmmtv is not promoting this series like MSP or TWE . They really have less promotion Also…
When it comes to bl, gmmtv usually only promote their Friday series. This happened in “Not me” too, they have little promotion unlike “Enchante” which is being promoted left and right. Maybe it’s also because MSP leads are newbies so they need more promotions as for PondPhuwin they already have fandom. And it’s very apparent in views. Although MSP is popular now, NLMG has more views than them. Maybe that’s why MSP needs more promotion.
I'm really liking pond's performance as palm in this show far, he shows so much vulnerability and sensitivity…
Nope. Nuengdiao has all the right to be mad and call Ben whatever he want to call him. He was minding his own business and tried to be as low key as possible, Ben was the one who approached him. It’s not fair for Nueng to be taking the blame all by himself. What happened is very dangerous for Nueng also, as what he said before that school is not a safe zone for him, he is already being bullied and Ben saying that Nueng forced his self to him will make the situation as severe as it can be. But only Nueng has the right to be mad at him, we as a viewers we need to empathize with both of them. They are both a victim of the situation.
From the very start I feel like there is something in this series that is not fitting. I just can’t figure it out before but now I think I got what is it. It’s the musical scoring and sound effects. The sound effect sometimes are over the top. And the musical score most of the time doesn’t fit the mood and it’s very evident this episode especially in that conversation between Tanya and Nueng in the dinner table, the scoring just doesn’t fit the mood of that moment. They should have chosen a music that will warm the heart because that moment is very precious.
Love this episode! Thank God the plot is now moving. Though some plot holes are very hard to ignore, I will just set it aside and see what will happen next.
I hope the story goes a little faster starting episode 5. I love PondPhuwin and this is currently my favorite bl series. But the story is so slow. Episode 2 and 3 don’t really add much to the story, it just give us a wider view of the people around them, but we are still not moving plot wise. Episode 4 is a good episode though it’s still kinda slow but at least there is progress. And in that episode we see Nueng’s other side. I’m glad that Nueng is not a plane white character, he has a bad side that makes the character human. Grey characters are more realistic, every person have their own red flags. Anyway, as I’ve said I hope for a big progress in episode 5, since Pond is hyping that episode quite a lot. As a gmmtv series watcher for years now, what I noticed is when their series is slow paced it will feel dragged throughout then rush the ending. I hope they don’t do that in this series.
This is a neighbourhood social club for middle-aged couples, not the high-class gentlemen's club you find in London…
Ah I see. It’s the mistranslation. Maggie and others don’t refer to them as elderly. She actually said Khun Lung and Khun Pa it means Uncle and Auntie those are people in their 30’s above.

Yes! I have to rewatch that scene to see if there’s any high school gang there. I think some of the misunderstanding is also because of the english sub translations. They expect people there to be in the age of 50’s or 60’s because the subtitle say “elderly”, but Maggie and others refer to them as “ Khuṇ p̂ā læa khuṇ lung” which mean Uncle and Auntie in english so people there must be in their 30’s and above, you can see the difference on how they call people like the old man that they help before they call him “Khuṇ pū̀“ which mean grandpa.

What are you saying? Those are not high school gang. The only high schoolers in that dance is Palm, Maggie and Nueng ( Ben was there but he leave early). This scene is the same as in the novel. Those are a group of dance instructors, Nueng is making a scene and accidentally hit one of those guys and spilled the beer that he is drinking to him, the guy is pretty dunk at that moment too so he immediately got hot headed and try to punch Nueng but Palm kick him before doing so. Then that guys friend come to the rescue.
Yeah, I'm dropping this - it's too stupid to watch. Who gets that violent at a ballroom dance? Over being jostled…
As someone who live in Changmai for quite sometime now I can attest that this thing happen a lot in a mid ager ballroom dance party. Every month this club organize a small gathering where outsiders are welcome as long as they are invited by a member, I’ve been to one and it’s really boring until everyone got drunk. And most of the time the outsiders are the one who cause chaos. I think the director and writer of this series did not think of international fans, so they put a lot of events and moment that needs interpretation or explanation from Thai locals, maybe that’s the reason why international people have a lot of wtf moments while for us who understand the culture it’s just normal. Anyway, about the school settings. If they will closely follow the novel. The first few episodes will be at school, then they will move to Chonburi for some episodes. The last quarter will be set in the corporate world because Nuengdiao will take over the company.
MSP and NLMG is both a really good series. They are completely different from each other. I think both series are getting a good amount of viewers, it’s just that NLMG has a slow pace and a serious storyline, it needs time to develop. While MSP has a faster pace and a lighter story, it’s easier to absorb.
i think in the first trailer last year, it was shown that Ben and Neung will be in a relationship. there was a…
Oh yeah. I remember that. But they said that a lot of things were changed from the original story of this series. i hope they did not change that part.
I need people to stop to say Phuwin looks stiff, it's the character he's portraying that have to be like this.…
Yeah! I saw him in The Gifted Graduation and his acting is pretty good there. Recently I saw him in The Warp Effect, he is the annoying brother and he nailed it, he is really annoying in that series. Haha. Anyway, the boy can really act for sure.
Loving this series so far. I hope it don’t go downhill. I love that they are taking time with them falling for each other, as of now the only one who clearly have romantic interest is Ben with Nueng. The main lead has great chemistry, something about the way they stare with each other. Ben and Nueng has chemistry too. I hope we get them as a couple first before they go to their respective partner.
Khuṇ p̂ā læa khuṇ lung which mean Uncle and Auntie.
