prolly they leave it open cuz they need some hype spark for spin-off work in the future (simply it might be a reason for them to work or not, is depend on the viewers reaction)
and beside, if they put in the same season when they already set the vibe right to end this chapter, it would be dragging or ruin the mood or they have to build the vibe to make it superb like this again. right?

Those connection between the main characters is an okay for me, but not the other characters. In the 1-3 episodes, sometimes it feels like they are in the inner circle drama that kinda questioning does that really necessary to put everyone tied into both husband and ex-wife? Even the renovation were done by the ex-wife.

And the stalker, can they atleast put a scene that let us see that he watch those people go? the scene that he was introduced as an instructor is like there was a story before that but they just cut them and leave it that way cuz a "stalker" could do everything and know everything without showing 1 scene or 2.
