My first reason to watch a dorama is the cast. It is like 90% of the reason. Second is genre; I love comedy but also drama, thriller, suspense. And after this I usually read the plot. In my case, if, for example, Abe Hiroshi or Fujiki Naohito is the MC, I don't need a reason to read the plot. Same with actors I don't like, even if the plot may sound interesting, if XX actor is the MC, sorry, I am not interested.

Confused drama, cast that does not mix and soundtrack kind of makes sense, as for the scenario, good, very precarious,…
Funny that there isn't any anime at all.

When I saw the poster I am like wont watch I don't know the actors than out of curiosity I come here and…
Uhm whut.. they look so much better now. They used to have terrible hairdos and both were very skinny. I don't like Yamapi but I think he is much more handsome now (that black hair suits him)

I think Kiritani Kenta is way underrated. He has some leading roles but I wish there were more and in longer 10…
Right! I love Kiritani Kenta, and he always plays secondary characters. And he is so good! I recently finished Sengyou Shufu Tantei, and he was really handsome there...

I always thought I would love everything Abe Hiroshi stars in, but I was wrong. I am so sorry Abe-san! I admire you, I adore you, you are the best, but this wasn't your best movie. I am not sure if it was a comedy or a drama or what. Yes, it has elements of comedy, but they weren't so funny. The first time he travels in time to modern Japan, it was fine. And wow, his body... he is mostly naked or semi-naked in the whole movie, so that is a big plus! He has an amazing body, and with his height... **swoon**.
On The Emperor's Cook Apr 27, 2017
"Everybody loves it except me". Kuroki Haru and Suzuki Ryohei were so good ^_^ As for Sato Takeru.. no, he wasn't good. He could have won awards for his performance, but I wasn't impressed at all.

The end was very funny and ridiculous, and in fact, that was the only time I've laughed. I wish the entire movie was as ridiculous and funny as that ending. Unfortunately, the movie was just normal. Very normal (with that cast!).

Watched Ep. 1 and had to drop it... this densha otoko is unbearable, cries too much. Manga-version is soooo good (but the book is even better!)

Good drama, it was like watching an anime sometimes. It was not silly as I thought it would be... or at least, not THAT silly. The trio of Miura, Shirota Yuu and Anne was, in my head, the Trio of Pouts. They were constantly pouting (*3*) Shiruta Yuu can't act, and does Anne really sings in this dorama? That voice was really good O_O
On Ties of Shooting Stars Apr 27, 2017
Nino was soo good in this dorama, definitely the best. And he looked so handsome too. Second best, Kaname Jun.
Forgettable with MEH acting: Toda Erica and Ryo (shock!) their characters didn't help, they were mostly annoying. She with the constant crying and he with the constant pouting.

nice oldie, but the manga is 100% better. I am amazed that the dorama is more popular than the manga.

manga >>>> anime>> dorama

the cast is good. The match between Oguri Shun and Ishihara Satomi is nice. I like that both of them are black-haired, and that he is so much taller than her (she is no midget). Everybody was good, I can't complain. My favorite maybe me Aibu Saki (Yoko) but that's only because her character was nice, and likeable while being the rival.

As for the romance, awful. Terrible. The same kind that happens in HYD, only that Makoto is not strong nor has any personality as Makino has. Tohru is such a jerk with her! Treats her like an inferior, mocks her constantly, belittles her career, her ability in other stuffs. Thinks of her as "idiot" only because she can't find any job and because she is not the genius he is. Still, she likes him since Day 1. Why? I can't see any redeemable quality about him except maybe for the last episodes.
On Sayonara Bokutachi no Youchien Apr 26, 2017
I don't think there is a single dragging moment in the whole movie, and most of it was because of the cast. No need to add that little Mana-chan is a wonderful actress, but the other kids were wonderful as well. Like Miyu-chan, who I found adorable when she guested in Shabekuri 007. Or the little boy who cried so well. Or the sick boy who looked like a young Daniel Radcliffe (seriously, he needed a pair of glasses and could have been easily a Harry Potter). Matsushima Hikari, who played one of the teacher, had a tiny role and one I could not fully comprehend. She is supposed to be in her last days as a teacher, and while she is having a smoke and lazing around is when the children run away. I like this actress so much it was like watching an old friend. Her voice, her slim fingers, her calm voice... I wanted to cry just seeing her. She pulls that out of me.

The promise of not crying on their journey is not accomplished, but the children were so good at crying I was almost happy they couldn't keep their promises. It was impossible not to cry a little bit at the end. So while it is a entertaining movie, warm and human, the end was good precisely because of that bitter-sweetness.
On Mother Game Apr 26, 2017
Title Mother Game
This is a very light drama, not the dramatic one I had expected. It was very easy to watch, and thankfully, many problems were fixed almost in the same episode, so there was no dragging.

There may be a bit of bullying from the posh mothers' side, but it wasn't too much, just childish stuff like notes telling Kiko to go away. Nothing over-dramatic, and nothing that Kiko couldn't handle. In spite of being a single mother, she had at least her grandpa, plus his coworker. And later on, her ex. So this if far from similar to "Woman".

My complain would be: I disliked when in dramas the MC is preachy, always giving a 10-minute speech and everybody listening to her/him. This happened a lot in Mother Game.

Overall, very easy to watch.

Very heartwarming. Abe Sadao plays the unlucky underdog so well, you can't help but root for him. And in this movie, he has a beautiful wife and 3 cutie girls. More reason to root for him! This is a slice of life, a touching one, and very easy to watch.
