A high budget doesn't necessarily mean everyone enjoyed the flopped storyline. "those all that you just mentioned it made it seem almost like a low budget one ", actually no. Anyone can clearly see the CGI's done are top notch. It's just a factor that makes the show pleasing to the eyes of the audience not a factor that can replace the storyline or ending.

About planning, IDK they could have planned the storyline well, for me it feels rushed and unnecessary. I don't know if you have watched it or not, so I won't spoil it, but in a nutshell, the major villain which the show didn't even give a hint of, appears only in the last eps, and causes such a catastrophe is a huge no no from me. Again this is not about the ending, but the plot.

Also, BE stands for Bad Ending.

Ha ha people here complaining about the age gap and lashing this as grooming when they're both adults and without even understanding how he respected her and resisted her all the time. 😆

Well she was horny you know. She got tempted from his touch and started fantasizing about him (shows in her dream). I kinda feel like the reason ML always hesitated was because he loved her. If he has lust, she would've been banged the first day they met considering she was all up for it.

Open ending. But if you're attentive enough they show like 3-4 hints to hint this one ended happy. (late blooming flower, white fish, mothers promise)

Agreed. I'm on episode 21 and wondering if I should continue it or allocate that remaining time to another worthy drama. I'm surprised with the rating as well. Especially when masterpieces also received a similar or lower rating. I really got scammed thinking damn this must be so good to receive such a rating XD. Came here before continuing to see if I'm the only one who got bored. around the middle part. I have few issues with this drama and tolerated them until now. They just have 5 years age gap and act like they have 10. Always calling him old and stuff is way overboard imo cause I too have a 5 years age gap with my sis and we are not worlds apart in our thoughts, behavior, or choices. This could have been practical if they had like 7 yrs or more age gap. And the young SZ is really like a 5th grader. The age gap and stressing on their thinking process differences was only practical to the young SZ and 20 y/o DJX. Also, I was waiting for the side story of her brother SY up until this episode. But no we just got to see him hanging around a shop, always claiming he has a gf. No interesting side story for the audience to get hooked even from friends or family. The only thing I was interested in on the side was to know why that is JY girl is head over heels for DJX when she herself says DJX and his family ruined her. Well seems like they're going to drag that on until the last ep. Also a valid point on financial stability in 2 years. That's impossible for even a software developer in just 2 years. Maybe they could have taken 3-4 years until the rest of the story continues. Then again I'm not saying this one's worse or something, every show has its own flaws. But 9.1? is even greater than TU, JoL ? is not worth it.

Who said I'm unhappy with the ending? I think I stressed it in my review as well???? I don't like the way a god of destruction who was just once mentioned throughout the drama came to be the major villain at the last minute. Also, GOD passing from person to person? There were major setbacks in the last 3-4 eps. SY dying, knowing they don't have much time to live, and then him again sacrificing. That's a whole ass wave of setbacks. People need to digest them, not throw them all at once. Also, this is solely my opinion and taste so... And also FYI I enjoy SE, BE more than HE so your comment isn't related to me at all XD

I understand that there are fans defending and trying to uphold the rating of the drama and I appreciate you. But I gave the rating for the same reason you mentioned. As someone who stood with this drama from day 1 even when folk said it's boring and stuff I still belived in it. I gave this rating based on my expectations and how the drama conveyed it to me. Different tastes I guess. (Also this would have totally been different if they didn't bring in a lame ass god of destruction at the last minute. Also I'm open for BE as well, but not things like this )

Was hooked on the drama until ep 39. Disappointed with how the story turned out in ep 40 (not the open ending). Would have been better if they took some time to let things flow and not just escalate things really quickly at the last ep. But the acting of XZ and RM was really good. Even the FL acting was good for me after the first few eps (maybe cz I don't like childish FL I didn't enjoy her character at the beginning). But I don't understand people complaining on her looks. For me, she looks really beautiful and cute than most of the Chinese actresses out there. And about the story actually, I enjoyed the plot until the last ep, and it went astray for me. Maybe I had high standards or maybe the sudden appearance of a god who passes like a ball from person to person at the last ep was too sudden and sit not right.
