It is 1-1 adaptation. Plot is the same. Different actors, decorations and some small tweaks into plot twists and lines. There are some different things which unwraps the story even deeper.
I thought this was very good, very touching, but I didn't understand or appreciate the last scene.
I thought that was a backdrop of meeting ML and FL scene in the past but she told different name and has different freckle at her face. So its something for the future of S2, but i dobut it is a real thing.

Yet beneath this facade, lies the truth ,he doesnt want her to know — not definitively — whether he divorced or not. Perhaps he fears the weight of her unspoken question: "Did all your efforts to save your marriage crumble in the end?"

On episode three when female lead is in the elevator why does she take the phone out of the other guys pocket…
The reason that she "reads" elevators mood right, He is not answering phone, as there is third person with them. ( his rival, high rank), he is holding his phone in his right hand, but there is "second" phone ringing in his pocket. He use second phone for some hidden, secret conversation, that is why he cant just answer his second phone. She recognize it and takes it, as this guy cant stop her at this moment. In such big companies sometimes its even prohibited to use unregistered Phones or Tablets, but even if its allowed that would unwrap a lot of questions if other people recognize it. The reason she stole it to "sell" him back for money, cause she struggles to survive at this moment.
On episode two, can someone please explain why he received a box with stuff inside that said take care of me
That is the core matter of the plot. If you kept watching you probably know what that was ) haha good luck with this show im jealous a bit you gonna see everything for the first time.

17-18(half) = I do think he hates the most that she was happy smiling with him,, not just being with a man. He does not want her be happy after what she have done. The future part when ML stepps her side is crucial, that could be played differently, im curious ! Because in this show ML and even Chen Ren are not that ready to fight looking characters. Also for the latest 17episode, this show is more clear that FL feels more romantic feeling already, after her conversation with Gu Chen, she probably thought about probbility of real romance with him , not just deciever plan. But everytime something happens.. This time he calls his wife the moment she wanted to approach "suddenly" ). This ruins her mood pretty hard, recalling her that he is man of honor, still juggling to "conceal" the whole cheating story deep under the ground. While keeping initial relations, which has no space for romance with "temporary". There would be controversal part ( with shoes) soon i hope, which was unclear for me in the original, here it is already more visible ..
I'm really torn about starting this show, because My Mister is the work of art that has touched me most deeply…
Give this series a chance. It has its strengths, although at first I personally didn’t see the actress as so gloomy and desperate. However, the episodes are a bit longer here, and gradually the characters start to grow on you in a different way. Plus, you have the opportunity to watch it online — you won’t have this chance again once you no longer have time to think over each episode before the next one. Some things are depicted differently, with other accents, which gives them a fresh, unusual taste.

He is bad ) They were friends in the childhood, his father was a collector and almost killed her grandmother, FL killed him in the act of selfdefence, thus Zhang Xin Cheng became a collector too even she pays him, his father is dead because of her and he act the way he act because of controversal feelings.They were close as children many years ago but now they are enemies, because of their mature parents. She cant go to police,does not want to , and the reason that she feels guilty, even her friend told her either she killed that man or she would be dead herself. The heavy consequences of her deed weigh on her, as she is fundamentally a good person at heart.
10th n 11th Episodes endings are fascinating for sure. Running , running almost crying , unwillingness to see the worst consequences... wow A Little talk with grandma, leading into a long run, her heartfelt apprehensions — in some ways, this scene really came off better than the original! Admiring she was running after him was so heartwarming . ( I even thought there was much more of explanation done about her "Running" resume line . Her fear of the cruel collector‑boy was nothing compared to her terror at the fate awaiting her “victim” in this scene. I truly felt her fear.

He learned from FL (granny scene) that he still have things to care about, he knows there are people who depends on him , "he cant die yet". Even her reply "Some children just a burden for their parents" could be interpreted in reverse, if he dies that would be a moral burden for his child. For all believers/hopers here , Both FLs and ML's son names end with "AN" i have a feeling we will not see more romance plot there either ))

Could be some spoilers of 1-9 episodes thoughts....In the original there was a Ladybug- peaceful insect, it conveys no danger but only kind and luck. And the moment LiJian kills it depicts her indifference and emotional disinvolvement from the collective mood. But in Chinese there is a Bee. Which is pretty dangerous insect that could lead even to some allerhic reactions leading to fatal consequences of some people. Rather than directly stealing insects life she interrupts ML from saving Bees life (he was obviously not trying to kill it but trying to save it with his hands like a dome and let it be outside later on ) which secondarly leads to paperroll kill scene as he could not catch it in time. Thus way the killer is their senior man ( the one with glases), and FL is not a killer but she is shown as brave and cocky. She is not going to kill it ( as she is afraid being called a killer ), i cant remember if that will be later, but in the original Li Jian was even joking that she killed some one to her collegue and in Chinese version she didnt ( yet). To summarise,,, FL was messing with ML ( not even knowing him at this moment, but that lead to bee death, and humiliation scene by senior that was not planned by her and that was secondary). That was consequences of her arrogance in disrespectfulness she is. There were nice scene when her collegue tells ML that he cant even ask her to do some job because he have to wait her being in decent mood. ( that was funny to hear ), but that is important detail to show her angry attitude , she is passive-agressive and defensive because she could not survive other way.
