Drama makes no sense from the beginning. For me its like fantasy\sci-fi on another planet with its own rules. I can agree with some kind of rules like : not allowed to kiss at school... But cmon , prohibited to have romance is idiotic.

I watched it just now, and my first reaction was that they are both neardeath so they lie on the back steat and probably warming , kissing before he is dead. As for the girl it seems she should be ok ( but she got shot few hours ago and unbandaged bleeding, so it was slow but she finally got unconsious too , hugging together.). But strange detail convince me that its a dream, that we saw no sign them swapping seats when car stopped. The boy obviously not in that state to easly jump behind, he should open car and seat behind but that didnt happened. So i believe all that scene is her hallucination. Before\after she shot herself , because boy died .
I have theory that the life they actually live is in their "library fantasy" , that's why they wasn't in the car…
