Waited patiently for its release and it did not disappoint!
The cast was phenomenal and their chemistry was so natural- I’d been looking forward to this drama’s release since the first trailer dropped and I’m glad it managed to maintain its charm. Considering the premise of the drama, it was had a surprising amount of comedic moments and several bits had me laughing harder than any other kdrama I’ve seen. Ram-woo and Hee-wan were both such loveable characters and both their high school life and the present were directed beautifully. The reason this drama doesn’t get a 10/10 was because of some strange editing choices in the first couple of episodes that didn’t feel like they did the actors justice- especially the initial writing the bucket list scenes (it felt kind of rushed?). Honestly, I was so frightened that they were going to end it poorly, especially considering the short number of episodes but I think the ending was really thoughtful and had me sobbing. A couple of plot points could have been fleshed out better but I think the shorter format did the drama justice and gave the viewer a sense of how short the time Ramwoo and Hee-wan had together was but how happy they were. Was this review helpful to you?

Phenomenal revival of the classic revenge drama!
Wow wow wow, this was sooo much fun! I've not seen the korean version, so I was going into the show mostly blind but it was beautiful! The cinematography was stunning, the acting was brilliant and most importantly I thought the pacing was perfect. They didn't drag out any of the plot lines, and I was genuinely shocked at every plot twist! I think there's been a many more competent, strong-willed fls being written as of recent, and Misa is definitely one of them. I was immensely satisfied by her direction in the show and how much more confidence she gets. Satoh Takeru is as always a delight to watch and having just seen him in an incurable case of love, it was so lovely to see him being a more nerdy character and smiling a lot more! As much as I hated the character, Shiraishi Sei did a phenomenal job as the villian, and I rlly did believe the incompetence of Tomoya. I thought the ending was very well done and satisfying (essential for a revenge drama) and I loved the montage of all the events happening in the 10 years until 2025.As a side note and slight tangent- OMG THANK GOD YURIKO DIVORCED HER HUSBAND, maybe I'm still traumatised from the ridiculousness that was Dr Cha, but I was so scared the drama anti-divorce agenda was going to appear again but thankfully it didn't. I genuinely cheered when she went "ofc i've handed in the divorce papers" That's my girl fr

I hate medical dramas, but this one...
As you can tell by my user handle I'm SLIGHTLY biased but this drama is my everything. When a piece of media has been made and it feels like its been made solely for you, you have to give it its 10s. I've tried watching medical dramas in the past (both Western and Korean) and I can never get into them. A lot of the time I think its the glamourisation of the medical field which, as a med student, I can't get through without cringing. But this drama's attention to detail and devotion into the raw retelling of both patients and doctors stories had be weeping every episode. No drama has given me the same pleasure of witnessing so many strong female specialist doctors, each with their own interests, their own personalities and their own ambitions. This drama has given me so many role models and I will cherish them forever. This is the perfect drama to engage in true-to-life stories written, directed and acted by individuals who are really devoted to the Hosplay worldWas this review helpful to you?

I know this drama is definitely NOT for everyone
But it found me at exactly the right time, filled with my favourite actors and tropes so of course I waited expectantly for each episode to come out and thoroughly enjoyed each one. One thing I think lots of dramas lack when couples get together is continuing to show their love for each other and actually make the audience believe that they are happy. This drama does it delightfully easily and all the couple moments of Yun-seo and Ju-won had me squealing. If you want a harmless rom-com this is the show for you, but you can enjoy the slightly subversive tropesWas this review helpful to you?

Surprising chemistry between Cho Jungseok and Park Boyoung!
I love how natural all the moments between Chef and Bong felt, I love love love when characters talk over each other and tease each other, and both Jungseok and Boyoung (as usual) delivered the main leads with believability and charm. I thought the plot was interesting and I liked the dynamic of the chefs by the end (hard to watch at the start, ESPECIALLY the head sous chef). Took me a while to complete it, so I wouldn't say it's much of a binge watch, but it was easy and comedic so I'm glad I completed it!Was this review helpful to you?
