All things aside, the male lead was seriously so handsome. lol
Seriously, can't you watch a movie or TV series without fantasizing about the actors? Do you think Asian actors or artists are happy that you love them mainly for their beauty? Don't you think they would prefer you to love them more for their talent?
What is he up to? Only one drama and one movie?! sheesh
To be honest, I don't think he's a very good actor. I'm watching Innocent Love for the 3rd time and that's still my opinion. He's much better than me, he can act but there are hundreds of actors who are better. Just to answer your question. I like him and I like his character in Innocent Love.
I was excited by the beginning, as I am with many dramas. But the more time passed, the more the same scenes came back and the more I found it boring. I liked the serious moments and when the story was interesting. But in the end, there were plenty of dull moments. How many scenes where they drink alcohol and get drunk? And yet they're back on top form the next day... Lots of scenes, too, of Ha Neul and Jeong Woo having fun together. I have the impression that a lot of scenes were added in order to fit the drama into 16 episodes. 10 episodes would have been more than enough. Oh, and I didn't mention Ha Neul's very serious accident, which left her with many injuries. She recovered in a few days... That's just impossible in real life. (i use a translator)
Not my favorite drama, but better than I thought. I'm surprised by the average rating, but I know that people generally don't rate the quality of a drama but the story and what they would have liked to see. I found the drama realistic, which is rarely the case, and that's what I liked. I've also read that Lee Doona's character is toxic, but that's not my opinion. Guys, you can't imagine for a second what it's like to be a lonely, friendless, depressed person... Toxic people are not people like Doona but those who judge without knowing people's lives or realizing that what happens to them can change the way they are. Won Joon understood who Doona was. More importantly, we all have our faults. Over time, I've come to know mine. (i use a translator, i'm french)
I find it harder and harder to like dramas (Korean or Japanese), I give up on a lot of them. The fact that I started watching them in 2008 also plays a part. But this one really captivated me from start to finish. I loved the atmosphere of this drama. First of all, the sets and the music (piano) are beautiful. I found the actors convincing. The characters are touching, even the secondary ones. Of course, some of the characters irritated me, but that's just the way it is. Some people see evil when there isn't always any. Yes, this teacher fell in love with a very young student. It was love, not s*x. I think what she went through was pretty horrible, even though she was just in love.
A few funny, cute and touching moments. But I wasn't thrilled. I didn't think it was a role that suited Takeru Satoh very well; I didn't find him very comfortable. It's not just his fault; his character is pretty boring. In contrast, the character played by Mone Kamishiraishi is perhaps too outgoing. I still don't understand the ratings on this site. I get the impression that they rate actors' beauty these days.
***désolé de ne pas répondre en français, ça va me prendre une éternité d’écrire ce que j’ai écrit…
Thanks for the reply. I quite agree with that. But I think there may be another reason. Now, I think some people rate when the first episodes have just come out (even without having seen the drama) and if their favorite actors are in it, the rating will be higher. Shining Inheritance came out before Mydramalist existed and I think that plays a part too. I place more value on older ratings. Even if some of today's dramas are very good too, even if I watch fewer of them.
I just saw it yesterday. For me, this film is a gem! I loved the story, the wintry atmosphere, the acting (special mention to Miho Nakayama). This film moved me!
Japanese dramas are so poorly rated, I don't understand. It's not a masterpiece but it's a nice moving drama with a nice message. I'd recommend it. Les dramas japonais sont si mal notés, je ne comprends pas. C'est pas un chef d'oeuvre mais c'est un joli drama émouvant, avec un joli message. Je vous le recommande.
It was fun, but it's not a drama that will leave me with fond memories. The characters are endearing (well, not all of them...), there's a modicum of suspense, but that's about it. There's a real ending, but it's too quick for my liking. I was also hoping for more action. Finally, there's something that bothers me about this drama, but I can't explain what it is. Maybe it's the fact that the infected people all act differently. For me, it's either you're infected and you change by becoming aggressive, or you're not. That threw me a bit. (Sorry for my unclear English)
I really enjoyed this series, with twists and turns I wasn't expecting. I expected a higher rating. 9, for my part. But I need Season 2. Given that the series doesn't seem to be a success, I don't think it's going to happen. ☹️
This is a drama I saw in 2011 I think. I don't want to criticize the drama too much, but it's one of the ones I liked the least. And, sorry for the fans, I thought that Gong Yoo was not good in this drama and that he was overacting. Stupid of me, but it was partly because of his acting in this drama that I didn't watch his films and dramas afterwards. Then I decided to see Train To Busan, then Goblin (several years after their release)... and my opinion changed. He's definitely a good actor.
I don't understand why the ratings for older dramas are so low. It's not just this one, but most of them. There are a lot of great old dramas that get low ratings. 7.9 is a pretty good rating, but these days, ratings for popular dramas are often close to 9. Shining Inheritance is one of my favorite dramas.
Maybe she passed out on the island and later when she woke up and searched for people, she found her father on…
What I mean is, how did she manage to get to this island alive? The French translation says that this island is 50 km from where she fell off the boat, and that's why it took them 15 years to find it. As for her father, I can only say that the probability of him arriving on the same island as her was very low...
Hi, there. Sorry, maybe it's a stupid question because I'm not always focused when I'm watching a drama. But how did Mok-ha manage to get to the island alive, which is, according to the French translation, 55 km from where she fell into the water (which is why it took them 15 years to find her). And what was the likelihood of her father arriving days or weeks later at the same spot? Otherwise, I really liked this drama. I've been watching them since 2008 and as time goes by, I find it harder to finish them. But I really enjoyed this one. It was a heartwarming drama. Park Eun Bin sings really well!
So, I just started this drama and I have a question, why are her hands and legs hairless??? It strikes me as odd…
It's a drama, so I don't think we should ask ourselves too many questions. Otherwise we'd be asking more serious ones, like: How did Mok-ka manage to land on this island alive after falling into the water? An island more than 50 kilometers from where she fell. Also, what's the likelihood of her father washing up on the same island days or weeks later?
I'm sorry, but how can this film only get a 7.9 rating? Yes, it's still a good rating. But when I see that today's dramas and movies have scores of 9 or more, I wonder what people are basing their vote on. Deep down, I know. It doesn't really matter. This movie, aside from the ratings here, was a big hit and I'm happy about that. At least I'm trying.
