An open ending. But the possibility of them meeting exists.

The series is filled with intense emotions. I wish the student could have had a happy ending—to no longer be alone, but to have someone by his side—or, at the very least, to have finally escaped his father’s cruelty and oppression. I also wish the teacher had been honest with the student about his true feelings; he was quite harsh toward him. I would love to see a second season, as they deserve to reunite and move forward together after some time has passed.

Deserves minimum 8.8 . Omg so nice . So romantic. If only the ending had been clearer. The conclusion reveals that Lee Woo-jin didn't die; he grew up alongside Jang-sung's timeline, waiting for and searching for him, until he finally found him at his art exhibition. It was a story with a compelling and dramatic plot. I loved this series and adore the duo; their chemistry is fantastic and captivating.
