A drama about the mechanics of dramas. First time I see that and I must say I like the concept a lot. And from what I saw so far, it's well thought and executed.

Do not worry, I understood your comments, not like I'm an expert in English either. :p
Not a single good note ? How ? Everything below 5 is bad, yes. 5 is average, 6 is fine. And I do have two 7.5. Also, my expectations aren't too high : coherence and consistency are a good start. Do not worry, I have plenty of shows on other websites (animes/american series) where I have even 10s. The main reasons why the ratings are so low on MDL, on my side, is because the dramas I encountered are heavy in incoherences and inconsistencies. I can live with some issues, no fiction is perfect, but I do have a tolerance bar when it comes to their amount (everyone has, mine just is lower than most, I suppose). If people enjoy these shows nonetheless, well, who am I to tell them not to ? They fully can. I myself can enjoy what we call here a "nanar" (heavy in flaws and yet really fun).
I'm also not the type to lose time in "I gave this rating to this show, I can't possibly give that note to that other show". So a 6.5 for a show isn't 100% the same 6.5 for another show. Once again, words are the best.
And, no, don't worry, I don't confuse the genres. I do not rate a horror show like a romance, or an action movie like a psychological movie. It would make little sense. When it comes to filming, a lot of factors enter the production, but in the end, to me, the most important are the story and characters. If story and characters aren't good, a good filming, a good OST or a good aesthetic won't "save" it. I do not consider them to be on the same level. They have an impact, yes, but let's say these two are like 50-60% (maybe more) in the final rating. Of course, if the point of the show is to be visual or auditive, or filming experiments, it's different, but most aren't.
For your second comment... Erm..."my popularity statement" ? It's you who brought it up. :/ As for BM, or close to most shows on MDL, I have the impression people rate based entirely on their enjoyment bar. Or their attachment to the actors. There's way too many issues with BM, for example, for it to be objectively considered good. However, it is entirely possible to enjoy it to the fullest.
And lastly, I would like to interfere with your reply to NekoMinSeo. That is entirely subjective, of course, but I personally dislike the 5 stars or 1-5 rating system. It's way too rigid and impossible to both consider quality and enjoyment. In those system, I personally only rate enjoyment. I prefer 1-10 ratings. Those taking into accounts 0,5 are even better as sometimes a show is between fine or good, or average and fine, or good and very good, etc. So if anything, I like MDL's rating system a lot. And I wouldn't feel bad at giving a show a 1 rating if it was an intense displeasure to read. It already happened (I repeat, on the 1-5 system I only rate my enjoyment).

More or less my system as well (the 1-5 ; 6-10). Though I reason through words rather than numbers, each number has a specific word associated to it. But anyway, I rarelly drop.
I rate shows how I feel they deserve by compromising quality and enjoyment. I won't change it just because of "popularity" or because some people can't take it for other people to rate lower than themselves. I am afraid I'm not a sheep, I won't be a hypocrite. Also, I invite you to think over it : do you really think a single rating has an impact on an overall rating of thousands of people ? It does not.
As for inventing my own rating system... I'm not... Not in the sense you are implying, at least, the only difference is that I'm...pickier ? and it is shown through the ratings. Everyone has his/her own reception spectrum, no one rates 100% the same, and I won't adopt a "popular" system just to please people. I use a system that suits me. It is but shallow numbers, you are free to ask for words, which are oh so much more valuable.

Hmmm, I cannot say I have any fav dramas. There are some that I like more than others. ...But most of those were years before I even was here so I totally forgot the titles. ^^' However, they are mainly romcom, usually more serious dramas tend to disapoint me. (you can also count in older dramas/asian movies, I feel attracted to the old writing/filming style - my love for old and history - though I can fully see why most people of my generation, or around, don't feel the same). Ironically enough, romcom isn't exactly one of my fav genre, but I watch them once in a while. Though a rating doesn't mean I dislike/like a show. Empress Ki for example really entertains me, it's just that the quality....isn't at its best (except esthetic and soundtrack, those are gorgeous)....and it's for now 5.5 ; on the other side God's Gift is better quality wise but was rather boring to me and I gave it 6.5. I tend to try to compromise quality/entertainment in my ratings. But in the end, they remain just that : "empty" numbers. Words convey far better. :p

Now I am even more curious to read it. I found the manhwa, online, well, the infos about it, I didn't find any place to read it (sadly). But why should I read the knetz comments ? What would it bring to me ? I'll be honest with you, I have no idea what "knetz" is. (Korean netz ? what Koreans think about BM ?) And where could I read it ?

Really ? Because your comment didn't seem to have been written "out of respect of others opinions". XD Which I approve of, though, except when it comes to incoherencies, which is hardly a matter of "opinion" (and no, the text above isn't based only on the incoherencies, it's the point of "everything wrong").
I'd like to thank you to tell me it's based on a manhwa, I didn't know. I wish I could find it online... Just to see what this single volume covers. I assume it's more an inspiration rather than an adaptation from it. Or the show invented a lot of fillers, which would explain why this show is so repetitive. You know ? When I started this show I was excited and I loved the four first episodes....then it started crumbling. It's saddening when you think about the potential of it... But I do am glad for you you could enjoy it.

Someone isn't honest. :p (or didn't read much) How is "it's a fictional drama" a justification ? Also, no, I'm not a hater, I have better stuff to do with my life, I'm afraid. And it probably would have made sense for you if you remembered the show ? Lastly, we did this based on the show "everything wrong" which you can find on internet quite easily. It might enlighten you. But thanks for the feedback.
PS : I warned the nitpicking, but apparently, it isn't enough. XD Also, thanks to you, I had fun rereading it all and remembering all the bad moments of the show. ^^ But I understand you, you're a fan, you want to defend your show, in one way or another.
I wish this drama won't have some sort of magical make over that would make her look uber pretty in the end. It…
Oh my...someone was effectfully brainwashed and conditioned. How sad...and how perfectly reflecting what's wrong in most societies on this world. Neko summed it all, so I hope you'll find the time to read it ; but sadly, the brain is so imperfect it hates accepting it is wrong, so I highly doubt you'll change your mind, unless you start yourself to think about your "certainties". But don't worry, it's the type of brainwashing that doesn't stop anyone to have a good life, just is incredibly pitiful.
The genderbending is often used for pure comedy purpose and usually dies very quickly ; this drama, however, actually tries using this theme in a far more intelligent way than most fictions do. But for you to discover that, you have to go past through half of the episodes. Until the last episdes go to far. Still recommending it for a fiction actually trying to be original with an unoriginal theme.
Is this a good drama? romance? the ending?
Guys can you rate the romance from 1 to 10?
Depends what you're expecting... If all you care for is fanservice and abolsutly nothing else, you might like it, though romance isn't the core center of it. If you care more than just a load of fanservice, however, you'll be severally disappointed. I have not seen the ending yet, so I cannot speak of that, but overall the drama is a wasted potential (and turned out to be so bad that it is fun to play the game of pointing out everything wrong with it, only reason why I still continue it). Though, apparently lots of people consider it a masterpiece, so the best advice is for you to check it out and make your own opinion.
