I never said that the drama is not fictional but the characters of the past and events are based on real history isn't it particularly the event related to chaheong is definitely whitewashed just because the king is the male lead they changed the reasoning and freed the women showing it was not a big deal.......which in reality is a big deal dragging women out irrespective of age status out of their own houses destroying their family household and dignity without any reason. We are already aware of the true reason behind chaheong and the drama is changing that.Isn't that an example of whitewashing? Some things not aligning with history is ok but the truth behind those events that made him a tyrant can't be changed he already was a tyrant before the fl arrived wasn't he 🙂so all that just vanished?

You are mistaken though it's mentioned quite a few times that only sun and mei are biological siblings sharing the same mother his father mentioned himself they are his second wife's children and Sun should take care of his sister. That's also the reason why the older brother only looked after jinny who was his own biological sister and not after Mei.
