Happy ending yeah, extremely few misunderstandings, conflicts and angst is there, but wasn't too much for me coz ive watched dramas with a lot more angst, misunderstandings and conflicts. So Not too heavy imo.

Redemption comes from the ML's sacrificial love for the fl, also those tons of misunderstandings here are an effect of her lack of 5 senses in lar according to me.. so watch it. I don't think you'll regret it.. ALP is my top drama, lar ranks 3rd or 4th in my list of similar dramas.

As far as my understanding, that's a rather really bad way to say it. As such they don't have any parents, they just appear out of thin air (that heaven and earth platform) and disappear into it after their death. So they have kind of a brother like relationship with her, they did bring her up (not baijue tho coz he meets her first time when she is 10k yrs old), but technically they are not related. The ancestral god didn't give birth to any of them, so I'd never call it incest.

Actually it was a rather plain and simple series.. like the sinister side of the plot was just starting to reveal itslf in the very last episode.. for me, i had zero attachment or feelings for the series.
