The first few eps are kinda slow, but they r the most peaceful part of the drama.. stick with it, the angsty part comes from ep 17 18, so i don't think you'll regret watching the whole drama, but please don't skip to that part directly coz then you'll not understand a lot of what happens

Haha.. well now im even more eager to complete the book.. ugh only if i had time.. but im on the same boat as u, xiangliu is my favourite.. so they'd better not deviate too much from the book and keep him like that, with a nice actor for him

I actually want xu kai to be here.. but not as the main ml, but as xiang liu.. he is the most intriguing character here.. and he looks good tbh in a darker role

I haven't finished reading the novel so spoil me, the ml i mean tu shan jing marries someone else there? And so does zhuan xu? So the only one who didn't do something like this is xiang liu?
