Well they do die a couple of times but eventually come back. It is a happy ending, but most people find it very short

Man that last episode! Ugh it has a happily ever after with a well defined ending BUT THAT WAS SO NOT WORTH IT. I'd much rather have the fl never come back 5y later. That sacrifice by rong qi was toooo much, wu chou and hen xiang were no less pitiful ughhh

Nope that's all there is about the 9 lives. As to WHY she was so heartless, that was explained after ep 50 when she remembered her life as the god of war and how she came into being.. idk if u hav already completed watching it tho lol :))

But about the non passionate thing of alp that u said, i think that wouldn't suit bai jue's character.. given that he was a very mature and responsible, much much older in age than the fl, also her teacher.. he fell in love but protecting her was more important to him than all passions and everything.. these 2 are hugely different for sure :))

Unpopular opinion, but i really pity fu chou, tho i know he is the bad guy, and im just on ep 39.. i don't ship the fl with neither the ml nor him, chemistry just seems off with everyone.. idk about rong qi tho, maybe i will like them together when his part of the story is revealed, and i already somewhat pity him too, even tho i don't like him much as of now :/
