They wear these pretty clothes and long hair in any period cdrama. These are of 3 genres, historical, xianxia, wuxia. Historical is the normal monarchy and imperial dynasty based cdrama, wuxia focuses on martial arts within historical settings, xianxia is purely fantasy including mythical, superpowers and immortal creatures. Xianxia you won't find it in genre section but go through the tags u will find it.

Apparently lang huan is the name of the mermaid, look through the cast list and you will find it.. dong xuan played the mermaid and her character's name is lang huan
