This is exactly what I’m thinking, when I read the hate comments. She is street smart but she hasn’t been taught a lot of things, her character is growing everyday and evolving after she learns new things but she is still going to fall for a lot of lies during this process .

This drama is starting to get interesting, I hope it’s one of those plots that are really slow at first but then get really good after a couple of episodes. If not that will be disappointing because I was so excited to watch this drama.

It’s really upsetting because the actors are soo good but the production quality makes everything seem so cringe

This made me laugh so much. He makes me love and appreciate dong hua dijun in eternal love and eternal love of dreams even more than I did before. Such a FRUSTRATING character.

From what I have watched the girl is a mermaid with incredible diving skills, she accidentally meets the Ml who runs a diving club when she kinda crashed his dads party. After the party because of her carefree and naive personality and mainly because she keeps mentioning that she is a mermaid, she got put into a mental hospital. I don’t get why the description mentioned poor or anything because she never even cared about her wealth she was just living her life. The ML’s dad wanted to help her out of the hospital so he Lied to the hospital and also to his kids that the FL was his wife but he never really pretended to be intimate with her or anything.
The FL then joins the diving team and as she gradually becomes a professional diver. She also motivates the ML to follow his dreams of diving.
( the ML owns the team because his family is one of the schools sponsors Incase your wondering why he didn’t dive in competitions before meeting the girl even though he runs a team )

I’m on episode ten and the description doesn’t really explain the show. I’ll explain it the best that I can below but I will put it under spoiler just in case.

When I saw “the legend” I was excited by the thought that It may be similar to the legend of fuyao. But wow, it’s kinda funny how wrong I was.
What makes this girl really special is how she is able to escape death every single time she commits a mistake. Such a stupid and naive character will never last in any harem like in the story of yanxi palace. Honestly I get xiao yu’s mood switches because that girl is completely clueless and doesn’t even understand what is going on so it makes it difficult to trust her. I just hope she has a character growth even if it is a little and also quickly finds out that her sister doesn’t want to leave because she is wasting her time by ‘helping’ her
On the other hand even though this show has a lot of flaws it’s still fun to watch, just don’t have any high expectation of the the FL.
