Aw, you're a sweetie! I always struggled with almost a complete lack of PDA in Asian countries. Things are slowly changing but South Korea is still very conservative. The fact we are seeing LGBT representation with not horrific endings is awesome. Also watch the song lyrics > that shows you how this generation is changing it. Lots of its okay to be yourself and Love Yourself. Hi! I'm making the assumption you didn't go to school in South Korea. (If I'm incorrect I'm sorry and please educate me on this > my last trip to South Korea was in 2011. And though I lived in Asia and traveled to various places there for half my life I didn't meet everyone so your experience might be different.) South Korea is uber conservative > same sex students feeding each other would be big news. (Note the news story of two off duty guys in the military were jailed for same sex relationship > since have been released) It's sad but hopefully this is changing. There's a concept of the nail that sticks out gets hammered down aka don't be different, do what's expected. Straight cis gender is the mandate... but things are slowly changing. Notice the lyrics to the songs are love yourself, be yourself... and the fact that ANY BL content ends happily is a damned miracle. As for fragile it's an incredible thing that writers are writing these stories and actors are acting in them because the visibility is critical. Many hugs, Z. Allora
