Chang Xi is an organization established by the Tianshis in the world of the story and had been fighting against the demon race. Chang 'an was the capital of China in Tang Dynasty. In fact, although not explicitly stated in the story, that empress should be Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history (she was very talented). But of course, for now she is still the empress. Qinghe was merely Wu Zhen's title name. This place may not actually exist, and even if it does, it may have absolutely nothing to do with Wu Zhen :-)

I also felt a bit sympathetic towards her. Maybe because she was just too pitiful: her father was a pervert and a criminal, the man she ran off with wanted to kill her, the only relative she could rely on humiliated her, and only wanted to sell her to political Allies...

I was surprised that I actually felt a bit sympathetic towards Qin Xiang (she's such ungrateful). At present, it seems that she has been abandoned by all men she can rely on around her. So she desperately wants to find a rich man who has a good impression of her as soon as possible to marry. I wonder how much more trouble she will cause for herself and the Qin family. Sadly, she is past the age when she can learn to be independent and indeed has no other options left. This was probably the predicament of countless other women of that era. This latest case seems to be the most complicated one so far. I like that they take it seriously to present the politics part of the story in a drama made for female audiences. Both the political plots and the case-solving plots are complete, rather than merely serving as aids to the love plots. This provides a more comprehensive exploration of human nature, and makes everything more real and credible.

I don't know how long it will take them to really reach the capital, but now I truly have begun to enjoy traveling around the country with them: A group of sisters, dressed up beautifully, sat in a carriage chatting, along the way enjoy the scenery and taste local delicacies, around the carriage were handsome men escorting them on horseback. They also casually sent some other perverted handsome men met on the road into prison. A kind of life like this. What's wrong with going back to the capital a bit later?

I've finished the latest episode. This is the best drama I've seen this year. In each case there are unforgettable characters, and profound love. The latest story is set in a vast expanse of heavy snow, with a terrifying yet poignant atmosphere. But beyond all that, the female lead always gives me a strong sense of security. Yes, the female lead. Now I can fully understand Yue Ning's attachment to her and the male lead's obsession with her. She is a true female leader and no one can refuse to follow her.

Yes, she should have. I think maybe doctors in ancient China didn't use such things? I believe I haven't seen them in any other Chinese costume dramas.

Thank you too :-). You have given me some inspiration. Maybe Song always keeps saying bad things about Nan Heng, part of the reason in her subconscious is to alert herself. She was so afraid that if she wasn't careful enough to guard against him, or became soft-hearted towards him, she would fall into the trap of fate again.

In the second episode, the two maids of the female lead admitted that they had lost their basic judgment in matters related to Nan Heng: "I actually didn't notice anything wrong", "I couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration for him in my heart." Then, the female lead couldn't help but cheer loudly for Nan Heng's deeds as well, and she said, "I see, not only you, but even I can't escape the influence of his protagonist's light." This indicates that the script can not only control the behaviors of people in that world, but also their thoughts and feelings (including the female lead's).

What happened during the Lantern Festival has already told us that all the main plots in the script are bound to occur, among which there must be the crucial plot that the female lead falls in love with the male lead. But now, the female lead's fear of the male lead makes it impossible for her to fall in love with Nan Heng. So the script arranges for her to fall in love with Li Shiliu, and she cannot realize that Li Shiliu is Nan Heng until she is in love with him. Because in that world, whenever the main plots need to occur, people involved would temporarily lose their free will. The same thing happened to that old lady selling lanterns, and Nan Rui when he wanted to light the fireworks for Ting.

Besides, we know that at the beginning of the story, when the actors in the real world were having a meeting, they were actually discussing how to revise the script and finally reached an agreement. So, maybe while the female lead is living in the world of the script, the plots of the script are kept being changed by the screenwriter (remember those typing sounds?). So, although the female lead had read the script, there were plots that she was not aware of.

Don't try not to like Chu. He deserves our love :-). I like the vulnerability he occasionally shows when facing the female lead. How much strength can the female lead have? But she could forcibly pull him in through the window when he wanted to escape. He just couldn't fight her :-)

Is there anyone who likes Chu Guihong as I do? He is not perfect, but neither is the male lead. Still many people like him.
Even if Chu desires power and honor, this is not a crime. Moreover, I predict that no matter what he wants, his love for Yimeng is true and will never change:-)

I've watched five episodes. Now my favorite one is actually Chu Gui Hong. He's like a unreal dream, with such a clear heart and determined eyes... Honestly my heart couldn't help but look forward to Yi Meng marrying him (though I know it is impossible). It'd be fine to leave Nan Heng to Yi Meng's sister. They seem to be a couple love each other and share the same misfortune. By the way, I think there might not be any absolute villains in this drama. Yi Meng's sister seems to be an interesting character as well :-)
