Just from the meaning of the single characters, 玱Cang means the sound of jades colliding, and 玹Xuan means beautiful rocks like jade. 颛Zhuan means kind, and 顼Xu is an ancient surname. 相Xiang means support and 柳Liu means willow tree :-)

Cang Xuan in the novel (Zhuan Xu) and Xiang Liu are both characters in Chinese mythology & history thousands of years ago. Their names have long origins, and I'm afraid it is difficult for me to interpret them accurately. Xiao Yao's official name, 玖 and 瑶, mean "jade-like black rock" and "beautiful jade" respectively. Jing's name, 璟, means "the brilliance of jade". Feng Long's name, 丰 and 隆, mean "luxuriant" and "prosperous" respectively. A Nian's official name, 忆, means "reminiscing". Xin Yue's name, 馨 and 悦, mean "fragrance" and "pleasure" respectively. Yiying's name, 意 and 映, mean "wish" and "reflection" respectively :-)
