Why is it in this Chinese drama they find people with decent english speaking skills and in kdramas it's like…
Lol. Misaeng is probably the only Kdrama i've watched that's got the English right, and maybe Choi Shi Won in She Was Pretty.
Sometimes in Kdramas they make their characters say a few words in English like 'okay' and 'awesome' and stuff which is fine but full sentences when they seriously don't know how to say it I just LOL at it now.
So how did they resolve the parent situation - because it ended with Yeol wanting to change family registries?!…
I'm not too sure what the problem was either, but what I gather is they only did it in case Yeol-Yeon Doo decide to get married later. They still have to explain how both couples are dating to their family and friends, incase anyone questions.
Something like that wouldn't be a problem where I live, legally or otherwise. And we can't change our names/family details just like that. It's a lengthy process and you would have to have a very good reason to change it like police-documented life threats or court orders etc. So I don't really know how it works in Korea. Maybe someone from Korea could help out.
Love the ending!!
Time for me to watch ANGRY MOM I need more Ji Soo
I haven't. My sister has, and she said she liked the drama but loved Go Bok Dong aka Ji Soo. She said so much about him that I almost feel like I've watched the show lol.
I'll be watching it as soon as exams are over. Ji Soo is love.
Lets discuss him when we both watch AM!
The show couldn't have got a better ending. So many good things happened! Seo Ha Joon told Yeon Doo about his…
Yes that would be awesome.
But the channel may not want to, because the ratings have been low. I still don't understand why Cheer Up got low ratings. Korea what have you been watching?!
Okay about today's episode! I'll try to leave aside my huge huge bias for Seo Ha Joon for today. Based on what…
I know Ji Soo is love! <3
Lol I'm glad there's someone that's as crazy about Ji Soo as I am. He is very good looking and such a good actor. Hope he does many many more good shows like Cheer Up.

We under-estimated Yeol. Even when he got angry at Ha Joon, he was always thinking for Ha Joon. I'm glad it got resolved the way it did. I think Yeol was straying towards noble idiocy till Ha Joon told Yeol "you can't back away from Yeon Doo now, she really makes you happy. I will get over it." So I'm glad for that. And in the gummy bears scene Ha Joon got closure too! So I'm happy with the way things ended.
So how did they resolve the parent situation - because it ended with Yeol wanting to change family registries?!…
Yep that solves the issue of the parents having to tell people that we're married but our kids are dating. Yeol spoke to his mother on the phone and changed his surname. They are still going to live in one house as father-son, but if Yeol-Yeon Doo decide to get married one day, on paper Yeol's father's name won't be there. Yeol's father would only be recognised as his father-in-law.
The parents have a greater probability of staying together than Yeol-Yeon Doo do. The kids are only 18 and been together for a few months, who knows if they would break up in a year, 5 years or 10 years or be together for the rest of their life. So I'm glad the parents didn't have to break up.
The show couldn't have got a better ending. So many good things happened!
Seo Ha Joon told Yeon Doo about his feelings and got closure
Yeol forgave his dad
Yeol-Yeon Doo consented to their parents relationship
Soo Ah's mother got punished
Soo Ah and Ha Dong Jae - a start of something?
Ha Joon's dad realised his mistake and started anger management therapy
Teacher Yang and Instructor Nam - another start of something?
Princi got kicked out
Minion developd a backbone..yay!
and...the bromance got even stronger. I was hoping for a hug but we got something close enough.
Sassy Go Go fighting!
PS: I need a spin-off of this show. I wish Kdramas did spin-offs. Sevit High Cheerleaders go to college!
Is this as interesting at episode 20, 30, 40 and 50 as it is on episode 1? I'm seriously considering watching…
Perfect reply! Thank you.
I know it was a weird way of asking, but there are no lengthy reviews out so I needed to know if I'm investing in a 54 episode drama that is good for the entire 54 episodes. And looks like I've got my answer. :)
Okay about today's episode!
I'll try to leave aside my huge huge bias for Seo Ha Joon for today.
Based on what happened at the end of the episode, I think Yeol has to realise that Ha Joon was never going to do anything about his crush. He was going to let it be, and he was going to get over Yeon Doo. The back hug was a stir of the moment, he needed a shoulder to lean on. And he did feel a bit guilty afterwards, he tried saying sorry to Yeol even though he didn't know Yeol had seen the whole thing happen. The scene at the end when Yeol asks if he's sad because of Yeon Doo, I just hope he's not blaming Ha Joon for the back hug or stirring towards noble idiocy. Neither scenarios need to happen, Yeol just needs to give Ha Joon a bit of time and space to pick up all his broken pieces and start afresh. Of course it's not helping that he's getting physically abused regularly, and really can't do anything about it. If anything Yeol and Yeon Doo need to figure out a way to protect Ha Joon from further abuse, that'll be his first step towards putting his life together. And I think we have a winner in the preview. Go Yeol-Yeon Doo in mission save Ha Joonie!
PS: I really can't help it, but that back hug screams electrifying chemistry. This is potential left untapped. I know I feel bad for shipping these two. but it's Ji Soo-Eun Ji for me, not Ha Joon-Yeon Doo because Yeon Doo belongs with Yeol.
PPS: I will defend Ha Joonie till my fingers hurt from typing lol. The boy doesn't deserve all the wrath he gets for being the third wheel in Yeol-Yeon Doo's love story.

Although such a show should have 20 not 12.
