Mediocre at best.
I just watched the first episode of the supposedly Filipino BL series "Hello Stranger." It was corny, and it felt like a show made for those who have poor taste. No wonder hardly any foreigners watch Philippine shows.
Also, I couldn't believe the male protagonist would fall in love with the male basketball varsity player. The player had no basic decency when he accidentally joined a wrong Zoom link.
If I was the protagonist, I would have berated that player like calling him a low-class, validation-hungry peon who thinks unhealthy activities like drinking are "cool" just because others are doing it, and would cheer him on.
