Not trying to sound rude but where did you get Ritsu being poly. From my understanding it was less of him being in love with multiple people or attracted to multiple people and more of him trying to distract himself from his life with s3x. i understand wanting more assurance but if you look away from his past and pay attention to his actions it shows his development as a lover to Masumi.

Of course there wouldn't be enough time, their mutual friend told him they way masumi had a downward spiral after their break-up, he respected the friends wishes and didn't contact him resulting in him wanting to die from being a horrible boyfriend to masumi.

I noticed that during the flashback in college, he referred to him cheating as something that just happens but with the actress he actually owned up to cheating and called it what it was, that was a sign of growth that some didn't catch on to.

his talks with the actress hinted that what happened with masumi, on top of what he was going through with his parents that he was trying to find a void filler in his life, so he resorted to drugs and girls, him trying to find masumi was, in a way, him trying to turn over a new leaf and except what he did to masumi, while trying to do that he was told how he made the one person he loved miserable, resulting in him no longer trying to look for masumi and decided to end his life.

of course he wasn't going to magically become a good person within the time frame they had which was less than a month but he tried what he could to make up for what he did in such a small time frame

not to be rude but if you paid attention, it wasn't a sudden redemption, he was changing as he got older, hints having masumi's picture, trying to find a way to contact him, and remembering something he said 12 years ago about the world ending.

I have the same opinion about her, i just find it weird how everyone is bashing her, when someone else is doing the same as her and no one bats an eye.

not once did i say you have to understand her... all i am saying is they way a good chunk of people praise bl's like that, are the same ones bashing her for no reason. Also the only thing that's annoying about her is not taking a hint, which i already pointed out.

I honestly do not understand all the hate that mint (in mum's world) is getting. Yes, her constantly asking someone out after they've said no is annoying, but isn't that the plot of a lot of Bl's? I truly believe y'all just want someone to hate, so yall pin it on her. The one from dew's world i can understand but mum's did nothing but protect the only relative she has left. And for the people calling mint and mum's relationship sus, do y'all actually have siblings? y'all acting as if siblings who care for each other are strange and different.

I know i am late but for anyone who wanted to see the plot made into a bl, Thailand has one called "Dew the movie" i didn't watch the original movie to this but i do highly recommend the thai version :)
