Agree with you about the ABO world explanation. You have covered it well for the majority of the writers and stories.…
Some people even rate episodes before watching the series. Ep 3 and rest aren't even out yet and there are a few already giving them low ratings.

Agreed. The show is doing a great job at the portrayal. I know people usually expect NC scenes as penetrative…
If a story intends for there to a purely A/B/O Universe then I can understanding Betas falling under regular human characteristics because no regular humans exist. The points I was making was more of a hypothetical situation. Sure, we have the general knowledge of the lore but headcanons can vary. In the series itself, we see Nakhun uses his pheromones against Ongsa and that causing the latter some pain.

So, like I was mentioning, headcanons can vary. Maybe a Beta can be completely human, no scent, nothing to influence or be influenced by regarding their relationship with Alphas and Omegas. There are also headcanons where a Beta's scent can be calming for the other genders. If we look at the actual series, Nakhun affects Ongsa by using his pheromones in a territorial way and this causes the latter a bit of pain.

Now, if this is a purely A/B/O Universe, then it's a bit strange that Phatsa has no knowledge of it so the next logical thing would be to assume that maybe it's a mixed society - those with a secondary gender and those without. I don't have the answers for this, so I hope the series can explain more.

If I had to mention a series with regular humans or betas or both I would say PitBabe but they don't really specify or delve into it that much and it's not really one of the best series for this particular genre. There's the Alpha x Alpha pairing, they're aware of the Enigma's influence and power, one of the characters is hands down an Omega but I don't remember ever seeing that being said in the series (vocalized rather than implied means more of a confirmation).

I think the important thing is to understand that while there's what we generally know of the lore, there are no hard and fast rules as long as it makes sense for the story. A society can have everyone with a secondary gender or be mixed. Betas can be a secondary gender that has no pheromone influence or can be influence by pheromones or they have their own subtle and special qualities. Or, maybe someone can write a story where Beta is the default when nothing comes up for Alpha, Omega or even Enigma. It depends, really. (Also, I realized this will be a bit long - just wanted to cover as much as I could think of). :)

So the dad is angry about Nakhun but I wonder how he will react to Nakhin who likes a beta not an omega. I wonder…
It depends. Just an assumption, but I feel like he'll be angry at Nakhin falling for Ongsa (when that happens) but there isn't the issue of having a biological grandchild because as far as I'm aware male betas cannot get pregnant. When it comes to Nakhun and Phatsa, it's worse for them because Nakhun's father could be the type of person that only approves of things going according to his own plans and it seems like Nakhun threw a wrench in them. If he knew Phatsa was a Pure Omega he would have no problem at all.

Random Thoughts.

Nakhun has been entranced by the pheromones on the coffee cup that when he finally meets the person they belong to he loses control. Actually both of them give in to each other. Now Nakhun knows he can't abandon Phatsa because that can have dire consequences. He knows he made a mistake (unintentionally), but, still he has to step up and take responsibility for it. He tries to maintain this calm cool exterior but he gets a bit sensitive (whether anger or tears) when he can't hold on for too long.

Phatsa on the other hand, has been introduced to a 'world' he knew nothing of and all of a sudden finds the biology of his body developing in a weird way and that freaks him out. He wakes up in a stranger's bed and feels weirded out that the stranger wants to be responsible for him. Sure he had given in at the moment because pheromones were affecting both of them and he doesn't know that his scent was enticing for Nakhun because of the coffee cup. Still, he does have a right to call Nakhun out.

Nakhun's father slapping him has nothing to do with consent being his reason for disapproval. He doesn't like that Phatsa is a random stranger, of an unknown social status. I don't even think he asked how Phatsa was doing. Plus, I will never side with someone so quick to violence when words would have been enough.

I have a feeling 95% of people watching this have no idea about omegaverse, or if they do it's from ABO desire.…
Agreed. The show is doing a great job at the portrayal. I know people usually expect NC scenes as penetrative sex and yes, it's a scene where instinct takes over but it still falls under NC ("No Children") aka mature/adult content (e.g dry humping). It's not the romanticized version some expect. They still did a great job with that scene.

Further stuff to add: I don't think Alphas can control other Alphas (depends on the headcanon) but Enigma have control over Alphas. But I'm guessing they can use their pheromones to be territorial for example.

For Betas it's not that they are every day humans but are closest to what every day humans are like. There are similarities and differences. Betas have a weak scent and calming effect on Omegas and Alphas. It's like a story can have a world with everyone has a secondary gender and the Betas can be considered the regular people. Whereas in another story, some people can have the secondary gender (Alpha, Beta, Omega) while others don't at all (regular human).

Omegas experience heats. Alphas have rut cycles. Some people might headcanon different types of heats and ruts. We also saw pheromones can be released with different intentions and effects.

No but waiiit nakhin is also a true me alpha right ?! So by that Logic Ongsa will turn into an omega 🫢 tell…
When it comes to omegaverse there is the general lore and ofc depending on each story certain things might differ. From what I understand, betas are closer to humans and those with female reproductive organs can become pregnant. S*x (along with enjoyment, pain etc) will be a different from what an omega experience. However even if a beta gets pregnant, they're still a beta. The only secondary gender that can completely influence biological changes where it's not the norm is an Enigma. For example, Alphas know they cannot get pregnant, however with an Enigma it's possible.

A defense of the “cringe” heat scene, from your local mud enthusiastSo episode 2 has everyone split, and it’s…
100% this. They're doing a great job at the portrayal. It's going to be messy, animalistic, unhinged. The awkwardness to me was definitely intentional. One thing I wanted to add. Be careful when writing A-B-O. It should be written as A/B/O because together it's actually a sl*r for Aboriginal People of Australia. I understand that was never the intention ofc. :)

Everyone complaining about the NCs "letting them down" is pissing me off. You only need to have the basic…
This. The thing about the NC scene is that in that scenario it actually worked because there are conflicting feelings especially on Phatsa's side. He's been bitten by a total stranger whom he wants nothing to do with and then needs that stranger to calm his painful heats. The awkwardness felt real and Phatsa was understandably out of his mind. When they get to a point where they're both in sync with each other, I'm sure the NCs will get better.

The brothers didn't kiss. Did you mean Ongsa and Nakhin?
Ok. I think Nakhin was probably using his pheromones to calm Ongsa. But then again pheromones don't really work on Betas but if Nakhin and Ongsa are a fated pair then maybe. And I know the issue of consent has been brought up in the comments. One more thing to add - while Nakhin is Nakhun's brother, Ongsa is Phatsa's friend (Phatsa Rattanatharin and Ongsa Sirikarn)

This weeks episode, omg to see some things.1. Nakhun lashing out to protect his omega. I thought that was so cool!2.…
I think for Phatsa's scent with the rain and dirt, what they probably meant was petrichor.

I also thought that it was Beta, Omega, Alpha, True Alpha and Enigma...
The most commonly mentioned secondary genders in omegaverse lore from lowest to highest are Omegas, Betas and then Alphas. Enigma is a term that was added later and might not be present in all a/b/o related stories.

Title Your Dear Daddy Spoiler
Ep 6: Back when I had watched the earliest teaser/trailer for the series, I knew a slight bit about Saitharn's trauma but didn't expect it to go that deep. I am glad he has a supportive community around him who will help him understand that none of what happened in the past or present day is not his fault. I really hope he gets therapy. But honestly, even if I didn't watch the trailer, I felt that there was something up about Saitharn. He avoided his trauma so much, that when faced with it, it hit him at full force.

Also for Phrae, I hope she gets to live the life she wants. She did not deserve to get yelled at by her Muang just because their father puts most of the responsibility (the wrong kind) on him. Also Muang and his father has the audacity of the highest level coming to see Sila at his business. Like how dare both of you.

Edit: typo - supposed to be "not his fault" (first paragraph) - just had to add that in.

I'm failing to realize why of all songs they made Daisy Bell so important. Can someone explain if I'm missing…
I posted a comment about Daisy Bell and its importance to the series. If you scroll up a bit you'll see it under spoiler. I marked it like that because it's a bit long. It's just my interpretation on it.

Tontharn blames himself for Botpleng's death, which is why he keeps apologising to the mom and grandma. I don't…
I understand. I think during her speech at the wedding my views softened towards her a bit. I know we both don't agree with what she did, but I like he did get a genuine apology from her and she has accepted and loved him as his own person. I didn't like her mother's speech though - she can ch*k*. lol (Also I don't know if you thought of this too but imo I think that she might not have gone through with the whole hypnotizing Tontharn if her mother hadn't encouraged it. That's my headcanon for this. Like she lost a son, and she did care about Tontharn also like a son but she had immense grief because she lost Botpleng. And instead of her mother helping her work through her grief - like get the therapist for her, there was this unethical plan that her mother encouraged.

Daisy Bell (Bicycle built for two) - by Harry Dacre

(Chorus only)
"Daisy, Daisy
Give me your answer, do!
I'm half crazy
All for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet
Upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two"

The poem basically depicts the love a man has for a woman named Daisy. That's straightforward. He's in love with her but knows he cannot give her the things he believes she deserves. Yet he promises her that their relationship would be still worth it even if he could only afford the simpler things in life. It also shows the differences in their social statuses. But it really shows a love that doesn't care about the materialistic things in life

Now if I were to relate this to Tankhun and Tontharn (even while they both thought Tontharn was Botpleng) I wouldn't necessarily use the social status interpretation part. Well not in the same way. Tontharn grew up poor but that was never an issue in their relationship. It feels like in their case that the song is a promise. Especially this part:

"But you'll look sweet
Upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two"

The bicycle, especially one built for two people (called a tandem bicycle). Think about two people on one bike - where one goes, naturally the other goes with them. They both feel the effects of a speed up or a leisurely ride. If they encounter an obstacle on the bike, there's the possibility that they both fall or they don't because the obstacle isn't that great. If one refuses to get on the bike, the other one riding it might realize the difference causes by the other person's absence - they might remember that the seat behind the empty and they cannot hear the person talk or laugh or express themselves in anyway. There's an emptiness in the heart because of that empty seat. It wouldn't be enjoyable riding a bike like that by themselves. So if I were to relate this to Tankhun and Tontharn it's showing that in this relationship they will always be there for each other no matter what. Whenever Tontharn tries to let go due to his insecurities, Tankhun gently tries to reassure him that he loves him and only him. To ride a bike you need balance (even as you're riding a one seater) but with a two seater you also need trust. When Tankhun and Tontharn sing that song to each other it's a reminder of the love and trust that they have for each other.

Its strange how there are two completely different opinion about this drama ??!! I am confused should i watch…
You should watch this (main reason is to form your own opinions). Just because a person has a vastly negative opinion about a series doesn't mean that their opinion is the be all end all and everyone else is wrong. Same thing with someone giving it a 10/10. This is just to show two extremes in viewpoints. Also, not for everyone but let's admit it - certain biases can affect people's viewpoints and a person really needs to be self aware in order to shed those biases. Just to clarify I'm not a ForceBook fan or even "non fan" but I am okay with checking out their work and I really enjoyed this. Like WilaFox said, it gets confusing but eventually you will understand what's going on. It's not perfect but I personally don't believe it deserves a low rating.
