This is too messy. The main character is the prince of "passing out". I understand illogical fights and dramas in a wuxia but there is a severve lack of emotions. Even the most important romance is lack of "love". You may want to skip this one since it will likely a disappointment at the end.

It is good, but it lacks epicness. Probably because of the limited cast causing the story runs dry 2/3 of the way. Btw watching too many K movies might ruin this drama.

The first Chinese drama that I ever rated as a masterpiece. I would not mind a season 2 regardless how absurd it would be, I will be waiting for the next masterpiece, will it be J, A, K, or C drama?

This is the best Chinese drama ever. If you don't like this then no historical / thriller dramas will ever be good. Epic is the best word to describe it.
