i have to rewatch to have more of an opinion of the directors but i do think they banked a lot on just the CGI and LYX carrying the show and then just kinda winged some other parts. i saw some BTS clips of LYX and BL suggesting things which is great to get them involved but was it because the team wasn't prepared or what? like LYX suggesting to send Sangjiu into his arms when she's hit by her dad, them asking if LSS should have blood in a certain scene and she said no, and i think i read somewhere that the "happy" moments in the Jing kingdom we're just them winging it i personally preferred the directing on the first half but the second half could be due to the episode cuts they needs idk I definitely have to rewatch tho
