I loved the complexity yet relatability of the story. And the acting were on point, among other things.
I started for my girl BL and loved her, especially Sangjiu, but LYX's acting had my jaw on the floor

people should be able to separate their personal preferences to a certain degree when analyzing a show. they totally don't have to like it and would prefer something else but to say there is no merit or point to shows with a darker, more realistic take on the narrative themes is odd.
and same, I also was emotionally destroyed by this show lmao and i'm still here and can't move on ๐Ÿ˜ญ

yes! the relationships and people are purposefully messy characters by design. To suddenly have everything wrapped up in a neat little bow doesn't fit the tone of the show! and although i have some personal critiques of the show it doesn't detract from the feat that is TTEOTM. They took a risk in making morally grey characters and the general public has a harder time swallowing them
