Main Leads Talk through problems and Stick together
This drama truly portrayed what life can be when there are ups and downs, especially in love. The female lead Hu Xiu and male lead Xiao Zhiyu/Qin Xiaoyi, show that love and problems can be faced together that you shouldn’t abandon the ones you love just because of difficulties you may be facing in your own life.
This mystery was truly very interesting. I’m telling you the first episode captivates you get you into the story, the plot, and the process are all very interesting. It ties you in you don’t even want to skip a second of it.
There is a breakup scene in this drama, but it wasn’t a true breakup where they decide to move on and spend years without each other. No, they actually went to go and talk it out ,to face the problem together and the breakup scene probably lasted at least one episode. But it won’t feel like it’s too long because the process in which they find out about each other and look out for one another is really good and it makes up for any sad scenes you might feel.
I will say that the second lead couple is also really good. Zhao Xiaorou and Gong Huaicong needed more scenes together because the ending left a cliff hanger of how they would get together. They’re both such lighthearted people but truly care when difficulties arise—that’s truly something to admire. I really hope they make a SEASON 2 and show more about the process of getting the second leads together because they are so meant for each other and I love it.
To be honest this is the perfect drama for mystery romance and basically games as well. If you’re a person who’s into all of that, you’ll really love it. In addition to that, they have a really good amount of romantic scenes, not just them solving the problems of the murder mystery and all of that, they focus on the main leads romance! That’s what I feel should be the driving force for MOST Cdramas that create a story with two leads in a relationship. THEY ARE THE LEADS and we need to see more of their personal lives together, instead of focusing on external matters!!!!!!
To conclude, this is a drama I 1000% recommend to ANYONE! Please watch it guys🥹
