Mild Plot Twists, Solid Characters, and a Relic Hunt Worth Watching
🌌 Plot Review
This drama had my favorite blend of genres: sci-fi, slight romance, and found-family friendship. Right from the start, it gave me “The Spirealm” vibes—but with its own flavor. The plot? It’s a mixed bag. Sometimes I was excited and fully locked in… other times I was scrolling through my phone wondering if the relic was done yet.
I didn’t think they could finish collecting all seven relics in just 32 episodes—but they actually did it. And weirdly, some episodes still felt like not enough. Like, “Wait, that’s it? Where’s the rest??” It gave both satisfaction and “okay but I wanted more” at the same time.
I almost dropped this for other ongoing sci-fi dramas—but thankfully, I didn’t. The plot pulled me back in, and I’m glad it did.
🧠 The Main Team (a.k.a. 5 Strong, 1 Heart)
Mu Dai
She’s mentally stable, kind, emotionally balanced—a genuinely lovable lead. But let’s talk about Black Mu Dai, because yes, I loved both.
Black Mu Dai had confidence, power, and that sharp instinct in battle. I hated that she had to be sidelined for the team’s balance, but she was honestly such a scene-stealer. Still, it was nice to have original Mu Dai back—soft yet strong.
Luo Ren
The loyal boyfriend energy was strong with this one. Even when facing a dangerous version of the girl he likes, he didn’t fold. Protective, level-headed—definitely one of the most grounded in the group.
Cao Yan Hua
Not your typical hero, but so likable. Emotionally strong, determined, and watching him go from robber to team MVP? Love that arc. He’s passionate, sincere, and his martial arts journey was one of my favorites.
Jiang Zhao
From flirty playboy to broken romantic. His backstory hit the hardest for me, and the fact that he was the last to wake up in reality? That kind of poetic sadness lingers. Easily the most tragic in the group.
Hong Sha
Certified baddie. She joined the team last but brought loyalty and grit. Losing her entire family didn’t break her—she still fought for her friends and the world. Queen behavior, honestly.
💬 Supporting Cast
They weren’t the focus, but Mu Dai’s adopted mother deserves a shoutout. She treated Mu Dai with so much love and warmth—it was sweeter than anything her actual mom gave. Real mom vibes, 100%.
🐾 Villains
Strongest villain award goes to Leopard—and by strongest, I mean the one who annoyed me the most. I wanted to reach into the screen and blind her other eye, respectfully.
The main villain, though? Bit of a letdown. All brains, no action, and got defeated in what felt like two episodes tops. After all that build-up, I expected a bit more of a boss fight, not a fast-forwarded chess match.
🎭 Acting & Performances
Let’s be honest—some of it felt a little forced. But overall, decent performances. The standout? Clara Lee, hands down. Her facial expressions alone could end a nation. That lip bite, the stare—cyberbullying in 4K. She knew exactly what she was doing, and it worked.
💻 CGI & Visuals
Minor flaws, but nothing distracting. Actually, some scenes looked really impressive, and it definitely made the story more immersive. I didn’t have the energy to break it all down, but it passed the “sci-fi effects not looking goofy” test.
🧩 Plot Twists
Honestly… not much to say. I didn’t really feel any shocking twists. Some things happened, sure, but it was more “okay, makes sense” than “OMG WHAT?!” So if there were twists, I must’ve been too chill to notice.
✅ Final Thoughts
This one might not be perfect, but it has soul. The teamwork, the character arcs, the action—it all came together in a really enjoyable way. If you like sci-fi dramas with just the right touch of emotion, loyalty, and light romance, this is worth watching.
Recommended for sci-fi lovers, team-dynamic fans, and anyone who enjoys plot over fluff.
