You Know When The Drama Is Masterpiece
The plot was actually really unique in its own way—it even reminded me a little of Reset (another Bai Jing Ting drama with a time loop). It had some truly mind-blowing twists, but also plenty of hilarious moments that balanced out the tension. For example, when Ding Qi and Mo Yuan Zhi were talking in the car and Ding Qi suddenly smiled like a meme—I laughed so hard! 😂 And don’t even get me started on the way everyone teased him about his first kiss. I honestly wonder how many times they had to retake that scene because they were probably cracking up behind the scenes. One character that really stood out to me (besides the main leads) was Feng Wan Qing. She’s so kind and selfless, willing to sacrifice herself to help Mo Yuan Zhi with the medicine. At the same time, that sacrifice ended up being the reason why everything happened. Still, I can’t bring myself to blame her—it just made her character feel so layered.
Even though I loved the drama, I’m still left with some big questions. Why exactly did Ding Qi enter the loop? Was it because he hadn’t taken the medicine before the loop day, or was it something else? And what really happened to Feng Wan Qing at the end—she kind of just vanished. That’s why I honestly hope they make a Season 2, to clear up these mysteries and dive deeper into the story.
Overall, this was such an interesting drama that keeps you hooked all the way through. It’s funny, emotional, and thought-provoking at the same time. Highly recommend!

The Boredom Takes Over
So… I’m officially dropping this drama. Don’t curse me yet—hear me out first. I’m dropping this not because I haven’t moved on from LOTFG (Cheng Lei’s other drama), but simply because I don’t get the hype. Watching this feels like forcing myself to do something I don’t actually want to do.When the first episode came out, I immediately hit play—and just a few minutes in, I already knew this wasn’t for me. Still, I kept watching, hoping it would get better, but instead, it just got more boring. It’s a unique drama, sure, but I honestly don’t know why I couldn’t enjoy it. Maybe it’s intuition. I did manage to push myself to episode 10, but let’s be real—on the first day, I only finished 2 episodes, even though I had time to watch more. That alone was already a sign I wasn’t into it.
Now about the female general—don’t hate me for this—but she’s been trained since childhood, yet if Jin’an wasn’t around, she would’ve been dead already. And yes, I get it, people will say “bro, she’s a human being, flaws are normal”—and that’s true. But here’s the thing: the way they placed those flaws was the problem. If you make the FL helpless from episodes 1–6, it leaves a bad impression. Flaws aren’t bad, but they need to be balanced and placed properly in the story.
And that 30 lashes scene? I was honestly confused why she didn’t just say the word earlier to escape it. It made her look worse for no reason.
Overall, the real killer here was boredom. Same reason I dropped Moonlit Reunion—the only difference is that there, I didn’t have issues with the characters. Here? I just don’t vibe with Li Shuang (no offense to Song Yi, don’t get me wrong).

I'll Be Asking My Grandparents About Our Ancestors Incase I Will Also Time Travel Hahaha
Wang Ying Lu is my second favorite c-actress before Chen Du Ling and damn, her drama is always my comfort drama and dare I say that she is busy so busy promoting her 2025 drama's wahaha.
When I saw this, I thought it was so funny since her 2025 drama's is almost all time travel hahaha and this one was so different from the other drama since the whole family is the one traveling instead of her only like any other drama.
The first episode was so hilarious that I expected, and they are so unserious at the same time and also I didn't expect how long the episode will be before they will get together and how short when they are together like "😵" but that's fine because that's also the reason I'm staying till the end.
Now let's talk about about the characters, cause damn this may be long like essay thing cause I like them all and I will give a damn opinion in every one of them.
SHEN SHAO GUANG - She is the smartest yet sometimes the one who is hurt the most. I love her personality and dedication and I love/hate how she resist herself from falling inlove with Lin Yan because of that thought. I know many of you kind of hate her at that time but I'm not because if it's me, I would do the same. But after that, she is the most sweetest to be in the relationship.
LIN YAN - The man you are! I just feel sad about him when they tell him that they are lying to him but he can't resist himself to protect them because they are the one who literally the one who give him the love of parents and feel to have a family again, even if he got adopted, he was so hurt after realizing the truth of the case, but his dedication to break the rules of romance just to be together with A Ji is so heart warming (before they knew the truth).
SHEN SHAO JIE - Damn I think he is my favorite among all, he's so funny and even though he is the last to improve in the family, still he loves his family specially his child and he'd do anything to give her what she wants and that was so father code. Let me be for real, he's like my father and even though he doesn't like to express his love through word but he is so proud and supportive at us his child.
SHEN JIAN SHE - I also like him but this is not that much, he and Shao Jie is so canon with that "✌️" code of them wahahaha. Sometimes he kind of pisses me off because of "Great chief in Yong An" but he really love his wife and family, it just that he is hardly understanding the situation.
LI FENG XIA - Sweetest mother and how I love how she comforted A Ji the time she is hurting herself and she always the one who is always worried in every family members. Mother
SHEN YANG YANG - I really love how she rangebait her father so hard that's like she really knows him and even his that personality, she is still proud of him.
A YUAN - New member of the family!!! She is so loyal to them yet at the end I don't see her, just hope she doesn't go to Yun Lai Tavern, she's pitiful enough.
LIU CHANG - Favorite subordinate and bridge on the relationship of A Ji And Anran. Uhmm new crush unlock wahahha
PEI FEI - Okay, I thought he is a villain because when he becomes Lin Yan friend so easily, but he is my second favorite character here, he's so unpredictable like that 2 plot twist I didn't even think about back when I was watching the drama. I also feel sad about him because of his love story, and I understand him, it's like what he said that she is Deity while he is just a commoner but I just want to know who is his wife after all.
FU HUI - I love when I see princess that is so kind and you will ask yourself if it is a disguise. It's so funny when she is so worried that his husband will wake up hahahaha, that's loyalty (iykyk).
I actually have something to say to someone but it's getting more long.
But even if this drama ended quiet 50/50 sad/happy, I still have more questions.
Where did A Yuan And Li San go, Who is Pei Fei's wife, How did they retrieve the picture or did they think that Lin Yan is crazy when he said he has a wife, with that painting when they doesn't remember Shen Shao Guang.
But the ending is so different that other that just stare, and finally a good one but still, I really hate the fact that Shao Guang will fell Inlove to Lin Yan (modern) because he is the one who has the consciousness of Lin Yan back then but Lin Yan will live his life with only 1 wife, and that's Shao Guang.
It's so good even though the episode of them being together was too short, but still I love this drama.
I dare say, I like this time travel more than "When Destiny Brings The Demon" even though I ranked it higher that this. So It's HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!!!!

Completed, But I Need More.
Another school-setting drama for youth drama fans. I rated it this way because most of it felt pretty neutral to me. I was excited at first—the early episodes had me hooked—but once the couple became official, my excitement slowly packed its bags and left. 😅 I don’t know why, but in many romance dramas, the second the couple gets together, the fun fades. I guess I enjoy more of their chaotic chemistry than all the soft, lovey-dovey moments. Also… I kind of expected Yue Tang Tang to join the main group in exchange for Gu En Tong. No offense, but Yue Tang Tang had something more going on for me. She reminded me a bit of Gu En Tong, but with more spark—and honestly, I felt bad seeing her always alone. Like, does she have a single friend on campus? She deserved better!
One thing that kept bugging me: are they supposed to be in college or high school? Because some of the girls (excluding my girl Zi Shan, of course—icon behavior) act way too childish for college students. It broke my immersion a little, and yeah, I hit the fast-forward button a few times.
And of course, the classic drama move—misunderstandings caused by not talking. Please, I'm begging. So many issues could’ve been avoided if someone just said, “Hey, can we talk?” But nooo, let’s all suffer quietly and pretend that’s romantic.
That said, it’s still a pretty recommendable drama if you're into lighter school romances. It didn’t fully hit for me, but who knows? You might vibe with it more than I did!

My Thriller-Loving Soul Cried Through Episodes 1–9
Look, I’m dropping this one—not because I’m a hater, but because I’m just not built for full-on romance. Give me mystery, give me thriller, give me a little love on the side, and I’m in. But episodes 1 to 9? Just people talking about marriage like it’s a group project due next week. I couldn’t hang in there.I also have very high expectations for female leads, and unfortunately, this one didn’t hit for me. No offense, but her 3rd sister stole the show. Like… whipping people left and right with boss energy while the FL was still struggling to stand up straight in a light breeze? Yeah, no contest.
As for SWL, maybe it’s just this role, but the acting didn’t pull me in the way I hoped. I might give it another shot if I hear it picks up later—but for now, I’m out. No hard feelings, and no fan wars, okay? 😅

From ‘Not My Thing’ to Peak Obsession
I honestly didn’t expect this kind of BL to get me. To be fair, I used to stick to censored BL and wasn’t interested in “straight-up” BL stories. Back then, I avoided this one… until TikTok edits kept attacking my FYP like a personal mission. So, I caved. And wow. This is my second BL drama watched (the first was Meet You at the Blossom), and right from episode one, I was surprised — not only because of the plot, but because Tian Xuning and Zhan Xuan popped up, and I’d already seen them in other dramas. The first episode? Peak. I blinked and suddenly it was the middle of the night because I couldn’t stop watching.
Every character here gives something. The plot is tight, and that’s honestly what kept me invested until the end. I’m not really into watching behind-the-scenes stuff — it just feels awkward to me even though I know the actors are close — but the onscreen chemistry? Chef’s kiss. Every couple has a unique storyline, no filler fluff.
I do feel bad about the hate this drama got during its release. There were even rumors about the writer disliking Zi Yu (which I did not see coming), but regardless, I’m rooting for either a reunion project or a Season 2. Highly recommended — this drama really went from “not my thing” to “you’ll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.”

Perfect Combination Of Short Tempered And Anger Issue
Ya’ll probably gonna hate me for this, but I’m short-tempered — and that’s exactly why I dropped this one. The acting was good, not gonna lie, but the character they gave the FL? Nah. By episode four I already hated the character (not the actor). That trope they used made me roll my eyes so hard my brain short-circuited.I was literally yelling at the screen for the FL to kill the demon. She had so many chances and did nothing but talk. I get the hostage situation, but come on — when she finally gets the sword, I would’ve just slashed the head off. Maybe the demon has a tragic backstory or a power-control issue like ZY in Fangs of Fortune, and maybe it gets better mid-series… but I’m not sticking around to find out.
Short patience and anger issues: my sworn enemies. That’s all. No hate to the fans — just not my vibe.
