Yeah the sound mixing was really bad here.. I hope they hired actual profesionnal staff and not P'Jo doing everything between each episode like for Only Friends..
Oh I have so many opinions on this I don’t even know where to begin! This incessant desexualisation of gay men…
It's probably because part of the audience is made up of straight women who only watch mlm for the good-looking men they don't want to see with other good-looking women. They have this weird fetish that makes them think they can make a gay man fall for them (because they're so special).
About the acting ...I always see people saying "needs improvement", "more acting classes", "better acting coach"…
I feel like GMMTV sees their talent more as models than as actors. Whether they can act (or sing) doesn’t seem to matter much, as long as their image is appealing enough for fangirls to spend money on them.
I remember during Only Friends, Force had just one facial expression throughout the entire show. It was hard to tell if he was happy or mad because his face looked the same no matter what was happening. That’s just ridiculous.
That said, blaming the actors only wouldn’t be fair.
If you look at their series the problems are deeper: bad writing, awful staging, terrible sound mixing, average and repetitive plots. They even put ads and merchs directly into the series, completely breaking immersion (just look at the KB shirts First and Khaotung will be wearing in THK... 🙄 sigh). If Aof and Jojo are the best directors GMMTV has to offer, that’s sad. I’m not saying they’re bad, but they’re definitely not exceptional.
I don’t have the time to explore everything Thailand’s entertainment industry has to offer, but I did try shows from other agencies outside GMMTV just to see if they were any better. To be honest they were even worse lol.
Outside of a few genuinely talented people, Thailand’s entertainment industry is still a long way from reaching the level of Korea or Japan. And I doubt this is a money issue. Sure, money allows for state-of-the-art equipment, special effects production, and hiring more skilled staff. But writing, directing, staging, and acting? That’s pure, raw talent.
I don't think fixed ship has ANYTHING to do with mid acting. I don't watch lakorns but I've seen bright having…
it's more like a direction/role distribution issue than fixed pairing. They just don't dare doing anything new. Just look at their genres and plot, it's almost always the same. There is so many genres they never explore
Some criticize P'Jo about FK's sex scenes in X. No one is forcing them to watch this series. If they don't like…
it's just a salty ForceBook fan seething as usual. They're mad FKJD are slaying and that both fandoms are also going well together and it breaks their narrative where they were bullied by FK fans
What do you mean? They filmed in 3 months and the airing is only 1 month after their last queue. Some drama are…
Maybe it's better to wait for the full series release and watch it later when you "forgot" about it? Just let some time pass, watch other things then come back later?
And you would also be able to read complete feedbacks and see if it's worth it or not.
I just feel like he is off sometimes, overacting. I couldn't help but notice it. It's ok, his character is fun…
If you decide to stay away from GMMTV just because of 2 shows you are going to miss something because it is very diverse. I would suggest to keep looking into their series without thinking of GMMTV, just watch what seems to be nice for you
