It was just so much better in the anime than in this series. Really. There was a real relation then a bond between the MC and the parasyte. At first they were fighting all the time, they learnt to understand then accept each other until they became actual friends. There was a whole process where we could get attached to them.
Which is a complete fail in this show, unfortunately.
In the anime we see the parasyte learning, studying humankind. In this series this process has been completely ignored.
I mean... There is so many things that are wrong in this show, I just finished it and... damn... No, it's not good.

Ho I did, I kept watching. I'm at ep 5 now.
There is some good things. I like Kang Woo character a lot. I already liked the actor before and he is as great as usual. Action scenes are nice and I think it makes a good thriller too.
But oeverall it's pretty bad.
Like the parasytes are so weak, I wonder why ? Why is this series so much focused on human rather than on parasytes ? I wanna see more of them. Why is Heidi being Su In's shrink ? Parasytes don't understand the human mind, they don't understand how human think. It's so weird.
I can see there is an attempt. It's not too bad. It's just far far from being as good as the original material and it's a shame because there is so much to tell in this universe.

I've kept watching it and it finally becomes really nice around episode 10 and then the drama was great until the end. I had a hard time liking the characters at the begining though but it was better after this.
Light and easy to watch? Not in the mood for heavy rn
Hm it's not light because there is a lot of sad emotional scenes, difficult themes such as homophobia and suicide. But the relation between the two MC is so healthy, soft and precious! It's really my comfort show.
