I am currently in Japan, Japanese native, and watched three episodes. This is totally different from Season one, although title and two main characters take after same name, as many of you already know it. I have to say, the story line is total mess, and many audience seems to be left behind because it is made and supervised by Airline company, seems like almost promotional movie to me.
Kei Tanaka, who plays Haruta, the main character is talkative and have many interview about this new season recently, saying "Ossan's love is originally a story about Musashi,.." Many fans of Ossan's love are divided and attacking each other now, and I just feel very sorry about the drama is taken over by the favor of corporate interests...
