I was honestly worried about Shin Se Kyung acting (I don't think she's a bad actress, it just depends on her partner...), but it's actually rather good, Kim Rae Won is a talented actor who leads her well. There is not a lot of chemistry between the leads, but just a small spark is enough for this kind of story. I would advise anyone who like the genre to give it a go without worrying to be disappointed.
I kind of nodded in agreement throughout the post and then I saw RDTK and gasped. I mean, this drama is easily in my top ten: it's all a medical drama lover could wish for. Han Seok Kyu and Yoo Yeon Seok are damn good, the story is well written and the drama never loses its tension. I loved it. (but yeah, Seo Yeon Jin's acting isn't enjoyed by lots of people and is really peculiar, so I understand.)
I'm praying for Shin Se Kyung to do a decent job at acting because Kim Rae Won is in there and, goddamit, his voice is heaven. Ah, and the story seems interesting too. But mostly because of Kim's voice.
Oh yes, I agree! I'm especialy scared because of the writers, I don't really like the dramas they wrote, I almost…
Oh right, Bride of the Water God. I watched four eps of it before dropping it. But I don't think it'll be bad because of it. Actually, Bride of the Water God was just ridiculous, there was no feelings, no decent acting, a great disappointment. I think Korean movie makers are quite good at modernazing old tales (I'm thinking about Goblin, here, eventually Oh my Ghostess which are good dramas on my opinion).
I've been seeing pictures of filming because they've been filming in the streets of Korea which is getting me…
