A huge let down
I was a big fan of season 1, I didn't mind the few draggy episodes towards the later half of it because the main story was intriguing and loved all characters to begin with. However this season is just draggy, plain and disappointing. I've been waiting for the grand reveal and the rebel female lead to show up and kick some ass since the second episode, but all I get is a puppy faced girl running around looking stupid and weak, the cliche clueless damsel in distress. Every other sub plots are also going on direction less with some fan service here and there. I'm just annoyed at this point. The popularity of this drama amazes me, reminding me of how different our perceptions are.

Sweet mature Romance
Gorgeous Leads,Convincing love story,
Off the charts chemistry,
Beautiful female friendships,
Well, It has been a while since a drama captivated me. This story reminds me of good old days of genuine romance and heartaches. I have a major girl crush on the female Lead, Crystal Liu. She is living that character, effortlessly beautiful, elegant and strong. Such a treat to my eyes. The male lead is great as well, the way he steals glances at her is adorable but at the same time his expressions at few other scenes are a bit blank. Anyway there are some lovely, magical moments between the couple that looks like a gorgeous moving painting.
The progression of the story is good, it's exciting, no cliche tropes. Writers have done a wonderful job here, the characters show real human emotions, quite relatable unlike the recent dramas that mock viewers intelligence.
Loving it so far.

I felt it was telling my story about when I started my first job as a graduate. I found myself wishing I had mentors or managers like Oh Sang Shik, or a better grasp of office politics. I wished I had known earlier in life how everyone had personal motivations for everything they did. I felt so calm watching this drama about the daily interactions of the colleagues, and the coffee breaks conversations.
The acting was excellent, the story was as realistic as it could get for me. I enjoyed this journey.

What a beautiful short drama
I was looking for a romantic drama to get lost in, to forget the world for a while and I found it.As soon as I got into this drama, I fell in love with the female lead’s character. She was so fascinating to me- elegant, strong, and a great master. Her authority was so subtle and yet powerful that I believed whatever she said or did. Her costumes were equally gorgeous and some of the frames were dreamily beautiful.
There were these investigation stories that explored human greed, insecurities, societal problems. They were told in such a thoughtful way without being so preachy. I kept thinking about the stories even after the episodes ended.
The male lead was gorgeous and a great actor, I enjoyed his performance a lot. In some ways he reminded me of Shen Qiao from A thousand Autumns, who happens to be one of my favourite characters.
And then there was the romance- the slow buildup from initial intrigue to absolute devotion. OMG YES - it was the most beautiful. Watching their relationship deepen was so satisfying.
I absolutely loved this drama and wished it were longer.

Li Lianhua Has My Heart
It has been a while since I have watched a drama without the urge to fast-forward. I was completely invested from beginning to end.I fell in love with Li Xiangyi, the fallen hero and I wished I could have his life as Li Lianhua, roaming around the jianghu freely in that Lotus tower and getting into all sorts of adventures.
I thought Fang Xiaobao was such a loyal cutie pie! His scenes and dialogues with Li Lianhua were my favourites.
And I don’t know why I was giggling like a little girl every time Di Feisheng appeared on screen, insisting on fighting Li Xiangyi 😉 Their dynamic was just so entertaining.
Oh, it was wonderful. I’m genuinely sad that I have finished watching it.

In love with the Love story
I finished watching this drama a few weeks ago but I am still fascinated about the story of the lead couple. I think because of the absence of romance in my life, I do love a good love story and these days I find that BL dramas are great at creating that story. These are stories about pure love and not about society, or expectations, or power dynamics like in the BG dramas.WoH tells the story of two flawed(normal) human beings finding love in a wuxia world.
I would watch it again for the awesome chemistry of the leads.
