To the people saying their age gap is not that much...it is ignorable...ok!...I do agree with you...but if it was like she is 20 & met a 30+ guy...then they have some platonic relationship...which turned into a romantic relationship...it would be just fine...no one would complain about it...but the fact that she was literally 10 & he was 20+ when they met...and he literally raised her as an adoptive father...now it becomes super uncomfortable to watch the romance between them...and also who are saying, the ml never approached the fl before she got under the disguise of guyu...no...he may not approach....but his expression tells otherwise...you can see what he's feeling...even at the very beginning...in the market scene where the vendor mistook them as a couple and gave him a child amulet...he took it and did not even deny it...I mean what kind of brother would act like that!!...let alone a brother...even your male best friend would deny it on the spot... other than this fact the story is good

Same here... so i don't really watch them...but Chinese BL dramas are very different from Thai BL dramas...if you talk about the novel then there are obviously many BL stuff...But the dramas are censored...they make it look like the Mls are good friend /brother...and most of these Chinese BL dramas have great story....but yes if you avoid BL totally then you mighy feel uneasy watching it...cz even though there is no romance scene or anything... the elements and indications are still there....so you can't just fully ignore it....Among these type of dramas I've only watched "The Untamed " and the story is a masterpiece... but yeah...it has the same problem I mentioned earlier. So it's up to you to decide whether you want to watch these or not. In my case I do get tempted to watch due to the cast sometimes(happened for the Untamed).... even this drama has Tan Jianci, Chen Zhe Yuan, Li hong Yi as cast....so kinda anticipating for it....but probably won't watch it...or i might....sad that it falls under BL genre.

you don't need to watch TLI at all...it is unrelated to this drama but if you have time you can watch ALP as both Tianqi & Yuemi have significant parts in ALP (so you can get some backstory)...but this is iqiyi production and ALP is Tencent production so dunno if they will make drastic changes to their character or not.

To me, the best part is here the two big evils Hua Shu & Ming Qi repented.... which is so rare because in most of the Xian xia the evil dies without even acknowledging their mistake.
