sounds like you're confusing a pilot with a trailer. a pilot is supposed to tell a lot of the story because it's to create engagement and figure out if the show will do well so they can get sponsorships and finalise the filming of the actual show

does anyone know what original material this is based off of? it seems like a censored BL, so I'd like to read the og novel or manhua

this BL feels so real and genuine, it's not too much, but not too little, the characters are realistic but still likeable and the plot feels well throughout, it's not biting off more than it can chew. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking about it, I wasn't planning on watching this because I thought I wouldn't like it, but I'm so glad I did because I loved it so much!!

i hate that they just added some random cliff hanger out of nowhere at the end, I was happy with it just ending there, no season two 😭 now I'm just annoyed, such a good series, a great final episode that wasn't rushed and didn't leave loose ends, but they just had to ruin it in the last minute of the ep 💀

I hadn't watched it when I first saw your comment, so I couldn't help you out, but I'm just finishing the first episode now, and it's definitely worth it for me. it seems high quality and well made. it has very similar vibes to A Shoulder To Cry On and Love For Love's Sake if you've watched them aswell. just wanted to make sure someone finally gave you a solid answer after all that 😭 I'll let you know what I think after the second episode aswell 👍👍👍
