phatchai's death was clearly something i wasn't prepared to see in the final episode damn

my expectations for the series were high. the trainee has a great and serious topic, great cast and the first few episodes really made me enjoy the series. but towards the middle things started to go only worse. the crew failed to properly convey the plot, divide the characters' screen time properly and added much unnecessary drama. even the final episode was rushed and had an incomprehensible pace. finally deciding to wait until episode 12 to give the series a full and proper opinion, i can say with full confidence that i am extremely disappointed in the trainee, which was supposed to be "my project of 2024", from its plot to the way it was promoted (only one ost in the entire show and only 2 merchandise: postcards and t-shirts). great fanfic/wattpad idea but the worst series of gmmtv that is not even worth wasting your time on. i feel very sorry for the offgun fans and hope that next year gmmtv will finally give their long-stable actors the serious work they deserve.

this series is so... weird... the jokes are absolutely ridiculous, what happened to geminifourth acting here, i remember it was much better in msp and mlc, and when we talk about adaptation, yes, the director is free to change a lil bit the plot, but now this is just a freestyle with the brand of the original, shame... even as a former big fan of msp, chinzhilla cameo here feels ridiculous and illogical, au and gmmtv are clearly trying to go back to their favorite child msp to collect more money and views, when geminifourth new series is flopping. i hope their next project will be better

this will definitely be a big challenge for them, cause aof is always strict in workshops, for him acting is one of the most important for his series, so this could make seakeen professionals, and aof's series and his support could finally make people notice them, how it was with jimmysea in last twilight

as far as i remember, last twilight final ep fan meeting also didn’t sell out all the tickets right away, and all the tickets from zone a for only boo final ep fan meeting were sold out, so it doesn’t look as bad as it seems. i would say that the situation of seakeen popularity should be considered by events and content (not related to the series). they are ofc not as famous as other gmmtv pairings, but their situation is better than jimmysea or forcebook at the beginning of their careers. and keen himself dropped hint that everything is fine, they have plans for something after the end of the series. AND ofc they have an offical logo, which means the company has plans for them. we just need to wait for seakeen growth in their careers, ofc sad, that they couldn’t do it like geminifourth did right away with the first project, but seakeen situation is not terrible, it’s quite positive tho

As strange as it may sound, the company actually gives them a lot of promotions, from promoting series through twitter posts on gmmtv account, to taking part in various shows (school rangers, live house and arm share /the last one is coming soon), schedules and even videos of the actors on YouTube aka guess game, reaction videos and etc. The main problem is that the actors are newbies and the genre is too sweet/fluffy, many don't believe in the potential and don't even try to start watching it…
