I saw all 4 eps that are subbed back to back without even realising it.
Its not fast paced or flashy. Its slowly setting the scene letting you get to know all the different characters and their personal problems/personality traits.
I really like it so far its very soothing and such a quick watch before i know it the episode is already over.
Gawd it bugs me! Its a latvian 80' song NOT RUSSIAN FOLK SONG and very sad and beautiful at that about a hard…
I haven't started this drama yet. I understand your frustration but as in 1980's Latvia was still part of USSR its understandable that some less well informed people may have referred to it as a Russian folk song.
Just speed watched ep 19 as I cannot watch this drama properly any more. Why is Jin Hee flirting with/showing an interest in the Chief when shes already realised she has feelings for Chang Min and has been actively pursuing him to get back together again. I hate it when people aren't clear with their boundaries ugh

I am posting here as well in case it gets deleted on the feeds
Re: Secret Garden
I did warn you it was on the feeds so maybe you missed it lol I said something along the lines that I watched SG in my early days when i was much more forgiving with my drama critiques and that it just didn't grab me at all. I didn't feel the chemistry between the main leads and the best thing about it for me was Oska and Lee Jong Suk.
I even preferred Hyun Bin in The Snow Queen which I had seen first even though it was quite a draggy boring melodrama.
Also it took me a while to finish SG I put it on hold and then forced myself to finish it about a year later.
After about 8 eps it has started to drag so much. I hate when they have flashbacks of something that happened a couple of minutes ago. Only solution to skim watch :)
Actually I had reservations at first too about starting this drama due to some negative comments I read. I have seen 6 episodes and I do not agree with the detractors. Its actually quite good, its not as exciting/nailbiting as God's Gift, but its certainly well worth the watch.
