Hello I was wondering who is the guy in your avi ?

I think because it was so short it lost a lot of its impact on me. It felt just thrown together and bit haphazard also the writing I wasnt impressed with. I had seen that actor in another drama where I thought he did a much better job and also this may sound superficial and unimportant but I noticed it and it bothered me his clothes didnt seem to fit him properly lol

I wouldn't say there is a love triangle in SWAK like you see in your run of the mill Kdrama, yes there is another guy but he's not the main focus of the drama and their is another woman but I liked her role she was a complex character.

Yes I suppose it does have some similar traits to Lee Jun Kai but I didn't like LJK much at all I have to say. I cant quite put my finger on why SWAK resonated with me so much.

I think it was the lead male Mo Shao Qian's character with all his flaws and insecurities that appealed to me really. He just wanted to love and be loved but didn't know how to express it a "normal" way as he had dug himself into a hole of his own making.

I saw it in poor quality viki/YouTube as well which I NEVER do. Downloading in high quality only for me normally :D

Anyway three of us started watching it at around the same time and we all have very different tastes but we all became slightly obsessed with it lol

I shall say no more on the subject as you considered it and decided to discount it before you must have had your reasons

I like eating anyway so yeah LE didnt help... well the weather is finally getting a little better so time to start getting out of the house and exercising again :)

No the meet up is in Birmingham. I was thinking London for the next one. I created the thread ages ago and due to lack of interest I forgot all about it until a couple of stalwart MDL'ers brought the subject back to life. I hope we do manage to have the meet up in the end lol

So because you are so discerning (aka a fusspot :p ) its difficult to make recommendations to you. If a twisted dark romance is perhaps your cup of tea, dare I recommend Sealed With A Kiss (see my top 5 dramas) don't be put off by the saccharine title it is anything but. Although I must warn you that the male lead does treat the female dreadfully so if that is a big turn off for you then avoid it like the plague. I would never have thought in a million years that I would like a Chinese drama where the male is a misogynistic controlling freak, but what can I say I was gripped by the story and the acting of Lau Hawick :)

I didn't get round to starting Lets Eat today. I will leave it for tomorrow now as Im too tired and sleepy and I want to watch it when Im fresh so can I enjoy it to the max :D

Oh no Im disappointed to hear that about In A Good Way what a shame. I dont mind so much when a rubbish drama stays rubbish or gets worse as it goes on, its worse when a good drama hoes downhill

You are worse than me you have 17 on your CWL & 10 on hold hahaha and I see you like to mix it up and watch dramas from several countries too. I have In A Good Way in my sights I like the storyline and have heard good things about it form those watching it but am waiting for it to finish airing and then will download it.

I have really enjoyed Lets Eat and will be sad to see it end I have last few eps to watch (14-16) just waiting for synched subs to come out for last ep then will finish it.

Sometimes people can be sensitive when it comes to what they like be it drama/actor so Im hesitant to crticise too strongly unless of course I know the person can take it

Yeah I just want PL to be over now. Moon Do is not much of a villain he just stands around looking slightly suprised lately. Someone like him who had Moo Yeol DNA tested when he was a kid we are expected to believe wouldnt have done the same for Hong Nan Cho's child too?? and get conned for all these years just makes him look stooopid. I dont know what happened to the writers they have just lost the plot quite literally XD

I prefer the villain in Golden Rainbow at least he is clever lol

We must be psychic!! I am watching ep 43 right now and saw that you are watching it too. I wanted to say how much its dragging but then thought you might be loving it so didn't want to offend hahahaha

Yeah this drama seemed like a good makjang at the start then after the Yoo Jung/Soo Hyuk marriage its all gone downhill for me...and the last 5 episodes have been dragged out so much I was glad when they cut it to 45 ep then they increased it back to 47.

Im with you I would rather Moo Yeol ended up alone than with Yoo Jung shes too stupid to live XD I hate that she married SH when she wasn't in love with him ugh

I will do... My Currently Watching List was getting so out of control that I put a lot of currently airing dramas that I am up to date with on my on hold list just so the CWL doesn't looks so scary hahaha
