This could’ve had so much potential

This drama was not one of the best ones of 2023, but we all were waiting for it all the way once it was announced and after bed friend finished, but it wasn’t too good. I’m only giving this a 3.5 just because of my favorite couple in this series which was TongGus. They were just so cute every single time they were on screen and had so much chemistry together. Every scene that they were in made me so happy from the very beginning of Gus falling for Tong right away saying he’s his type and made him a coffee while flirting, when they left the office all the time together, when they had hot pot together and Gus saying his sad past with his mom, telling Tong off saying that the listener always remembers what the speaker says, when it was songkran and Tong was trying to make Gus like him again, when it was the office event and Tong got injured and Gus told the medic that to take good care of his boyfriend, and let’s not forget their steamy scene it was so insane I was screaming the whole time.
I can’t really write too much about this show because I can’t really seem to find a lot of good things about the show because it was either to messy or to chaotic. I do love both Tutor and Yim and think their a good pair, but this show was not it for them and plus Jade was also super duper loud throughout the show. Their would also be some comedic parts, but didn’t really help make the show more enjoyable. I also feel robbed about their being barely any scenes of Uea and King, because I do think they would also would’ve helped make the show a little bit better, but we only had to scenes which were valentines and a wedding ring scene of them because I do think they would also have helped make the show a little bit better. I would recommend this show, but their might be a lot of non enjoyable parts of the show.

Looks matter when being an idol not singing

This drama was so so so good I swear to god even if it was only 11 minutes long it was worth watching it. I don’t really watch idol dramas, but this one was actually pretty good and I’m not lying. The actress that play Kwon Shi Ah and Kwon Shi Yeon were actually pretty good at making it seem like they hate each other as siblings because I have an older sister and the way they acted with the screaming and pulling each other’s hair is actually relatable expect we don’t pull each other’s hair, but it seems like a boxing match. The whole plot of this show was literally the definition of being an idol you need to have the looks and the body size and it doesn’t matter how you sing because they could add auto tune unless if it was for a live performance. Kwon Shi Ah is originally the idol in the family, but isn’t the best singer while Kwon Shi Yeon is a way better singer, but doesn’t want people to know that she’s fat because she will get a whole lot of hate so she uses a live stream with a photo of good looking girls and sings behind it. One day Shi Yeon goes to a magic person and ask to swap lives with her sister and it happened, but her life isn’t actually that good because everyone hates her in the group because she’s a rude person to all of the members while sucks at singing, but once they saw her being nice and a good singer one of the members knew something was up. Ban Hae Sung is a singer that thinks he’s better than everyone else and doesn’t even look at others when Shi Ah sang he didn’t look at her, but once Shi Yeon sang and was in her body he liked her so they dated, but then one day they transformed back and she was back to being the girl no one likes because she’s fat, but Ban Hae Sung was looking for her voice once he heard Shi Yeon sing he fell in love again. It was nice seeing a kpop group also the songs were so good and the love story between them all was nice. Anyways I hope you enjoy this drama as much as I do and I definitely recommend this drama.

A love story between a Dentist and a Bar Owner

Wow! Where to start , first I will start with the main ship Bai Lang and Xun An it was a beautiful relationship and they were amazing and so cute, I still remember the first episode when Bai Lang was super afraid to go to the dentist and was holding his support marble fell because an earthquake happened and Xun An picked it up for him and then hit his head on the light that helps look at your teeth, but they did meet again often and slowly started to develop feelings for each other that even Bai Lang told Xun An about why he doesn’t like the dentist and his trauma and also for their relationship to be accepted by Xun An’s father he had to deal with a whole lot of pain and got very injured and they got together in the end and even are engaged!
The next couple is Alex and RJ they are my favorite couple from this show they met because RJ was going against his parents orders and in order to prove it he kissed Alex and spilled a whole lot of drinks from the bar and then ran away from his problems, but he has no where to live so they hire him at the bar and he can sleep in the supply room. I loved the scene where they were supposed to be cleaning and RJ was writing in a note pad and Alex wanted to see so he was peeking through the window and acted like he didn’t know anything. Also when little RJ pinned Tall Alex to the wall to flirt with him I was screaming.
At the last episode I was going to start crying if Alex didn’t see RJ ever again because he was reading the little note from him. Also Bai Lang’s sister was so pretty in here wedding dress, it was nice to see the relationship with Qi Ran and his son to see a mother image he never had. I also liked Little A’s and the hockey players story and hope that we at least get some type of update on them. I also noticed the wedding scene were they dance was always in the ending credits in each episode. Okay I’m going to stop now, you should Definitely watch this series!

A love story between a human and an AI

I really enjoyed this drama from the very beginning because it’s a very different plot than what you normally see in a BL drama, but ever since episode 8-10 came I felt the story staring to go downhill and I didn’t really enjoy it anymore.I know having an relationship ship with an AI is really insane because it’s not normal, but when you forget the fact that Ever 9 is a AI it is a very good drama.
I mean once Ever 9 came Yi Ping’s life changed I really don’t think he likes humans because if seemed that he never really liked or had a crush on someone before Ever 9. Also I do think at times Yi Ping definitely forgot that Ever 9 is an AI because he even brought him to the place he works (school) and really only talked to him like he was his own student. They have the chemistry and everything, which was shown from episodes 1-7, but Once episode 8 aired I wasn’t feeling that same feeling that I felt when I saw the previous ones then ep 9 came and I didn’t really like it because it was literally a whole talk about how Yi Ping can’t have Ever 9 and date him because he’s AI and all I’m thinking is why did the uncle give Ever 9 in the first place and why did they add a love feature if they aren’t supposed to date and fall in love with each other. The last episode felt like a waste except once they did the seven year time skip because it was basically just showing episode 9’s storyline all over again, and once they did the time skip I finally felt the same feeling I felt when 1-7 was happening because they were back together with no problems. I do kind of recommend this drama, but also don’t at the same time.

The story between a boss and general manager

You are mine is went through so many plots that it made it somewhat enjoyable in my opinion. I literally was going insane whenever Shang Zhou would literally flirt with Shun Yu like it was that good. I’m sorry, but I have to bring up that bull cut/Edgar cut, but it kind of looks fire on Shun Yu. It was so obvious that Shang Zhou was literally in love with Shun Yu, because when Shun Yu was sick he was still trying to show his cold side, but literally couldn’t anymore and was so in love with him that he stayed with him, and when he also got kidnapped and they both shared their stories and got super duper close to each other. I have to say that Lisa helped carry this show she was amazing at being a sister and a team leader at the same time. I was literally gonna bawl my eyes out once Shang Zhou said “Your free now to leave whenever you want” because that’s when Shun Yu finally realized his feelings and that Shang Zhou also had feelings for him, but doesn’t know how to explain it. Also When Shun Yu literally got into a fight with Shang Zhou’s mom was insane like I was cheering for him once he ripped up the 10 million check and dropped it on her face, because he killed it, like I support him 100% once he did that. I’m sorry that I’m writing so much, but it shows how much this series was enjoyable, so I definitely recommend this show to anyone who wants to watch it because it was good.

Where’s the love and the cat?

I’m not the type to make a review with only three stars, but it was not a good series. This title literally reminds me of old fashion cupcakes were they ate everything, but a cupcake and Love Is like a cat is the exact same thing which is their is no cat! The setting is at a dog cafe and they only showed a dog which they had to send to heaven which almost made me cry, but can one dog just stay alive in a series. I’m not a big fan of mew since I literally can’t get passed ep 4 of Tharntype because in my opinion it’s such a bad show, but this show also wasn’t really for him. I don’t have a problem with the mixed language dramas because I’m so used to hearing different languages in real life that it feels normal for me, but it’s kind of confusing to me on how people can understand Pi Uno while a lot of people can’t, but also I’m wondering if Uno can already understand his boss, hyung, and father then why does he have to wear an headphone? Is it because it connects and translates to other people by it. I am also a huge fan of JustB which is were Dae Byeol and Gi Min are from so I definitely won’t hate any of them. I loved the plot twist of Gi Min liking Dae Byeol because I couldn’t even tell that was their. I think the reason why I didn’t really enjoy this show was because I just didn’t like the whole plot and how to story unfolded. I also didn’t like the producer of Dooby Dooby Job because the fact that Pi Uno literally got so injured she only cared about the camera if it was still recording for the viewers and that they broke the rules of no cameras after 9 and filmed them giving the shot to the dog so it can rest. I don’t really recommend this show, but it depends on if you want to watch it.

I feel Jeong Ha Yeon deserves better

I felt first love again was an okay shows here’s why, it reminds me of UWMA (Until we meet again) which is also based on reincarnation, but it kinda was confusing at times with the many different time changes and mainly the first two out of six were about Yeon Seok’s past lives with Jeong Ha Yeon (female version) in which she dies before him in both two lives and on the third life is when he meets the male version of Jeong Ha Yeon in a restaurant because his fox (Sin Bi) told him that Ha Yeon would be there, but he was stunned that he was a man and suddenly didn’t like Ha Yeon anymore which I felt was weird then Yeon Seok was parked with Ha Yeon since he became someone who can help him figure out how to write his novel as a fan. So, at first he was very rude to Ha Yeon and then soon started to become nicer to the point he caught feelings for him. Until he saw Ha Yeon’s sister who is the female version of Ha Yeon so he started to become confused. One of Ha Yeons friend from America who is part of the baseball team is Jin Hyeok and he also has feelings for Ha Yeon and wanted to confess to him, but Yeon Seok already beat him to it. I do feel that Jin Hyeok should’ve ended up with Ha Yeon because they seemed to have so much chemistry in the 5 minutes they were together than with Yeon Seok, and he kind of hurt Ha Yeon for not telling him that he was his past lovers so he became confused on if he liked his sister or him. I know my review isn’t that good, but I feel it has its pros and cons. I do recommend this because of how cute Ha Yeon is.

A vampire who can’t love a human being....

I felt that Kissable was an amazing drama with only it being 8 eps and with a duration of mainly 10 minutes because it was all told out. I seriously love both Seo Bins and Jiwoongs chemistry I think their a match made in heaven because even in 10 minutes they can show how they have so much chemistry. I do like the concept of vampires in BL dramas because it not very common at all I think this is the only actual vampire show that’s out and it was portrayed well. I do feel the story was kind of rushed because it started with Min Hyun tripping in the first episode and he started bleeding which made Jun Ho’s eyes turn blue because he’s a pure blood human. So Jun Ho got close to Min Hyun so he can drink his blood, but coming without thinking he will fall in love with Min Hyun but he did end up falling in love with him to the point that he would rather sacrifice his life than to kill Min Hyun by sucking his blood which I find as it’s like true love right there. I started bawling at the last episode because Jun Ho got to the point were he’s dying and his vision is so blurry that he can’t really see Min Hyun anymore and he was gonna give him his ring, but dropped it and couldn’t find it so he left the room with Min Hyun sleeping because he didn’t want him to see him disappear, but he still did and sadly died in his arms. I literally started crying when Min Hyun bursted out crying because he seemed so sad and depressed after that even when he went back to the room Jun Ho stayed in that was cleaned he was sad since all his memories with him are becoming faint, since he doesn’t have any photographs of his memories with him. To the point a year later he is still thinking about him, which is so sad because Jun Ho won’t come back. I really recommend Kissable Lips even though the ending is sad the show overall is pretty good.

A girl become a chicken nugget and aliens love bts and Big Bang

I have very mixed feelings with this show at times it’s be an okay show but then it became a whole mess throughout the show. I have never read the webtoon so I can’t really compare, but just from seeing this show I feel I wouldn’t want to read it at all. I guess the whole plot is based on Min Ah going to her dads workplace for lunch which is called more than machines then while her dad (Seon Man) leaves his coworker Baek Joong watches her and tells her about their new machine which is supposed to help you not feel sleepy so of course she went into the machine, but a chicken nugget rolled on the floor and her last word was chicken nugget which she then became. Her dad came out and started looking for her while his co worker is screaming at the chicken nugget because that’s what she is. Seon Man and Baek Joong go back in fourth about if she’s the nugget and then their other coworker came back from lunch and put her with all the nuggets so they can’t tell which is her. They go to the original store to ask for help, but Baek Joong sees his ex which is a food blogger and helps them find her because shes the only one that smells like mint chocolate. Then the machine gets stolen by a crazy dude who’s uncle made the machine and he wants to use it, the uncle comes back to life and is gonna try to make Min Ah back to a human so he takes her and Baek Joong and Seon Man try finding her and then get locked on a bed and a fight scene happens with the uncle and nephew, Baek Joong and Seon Man, and the owners of the chicken nugget place because now their aliens and the machine is what turned them into humans and can save Min Ah if they let them borrow it. I definitely feel the aliens won the battle because they were entertaining. The only problem was that 1 day on their planet is 50 years on earth so her dad and Baek Joong would be near death for being 105 and 78. Baek Joong becomes a music artist under the name yellow pants while waiting for Min Ah and on his last day of being a singer he suddenly spots Min Ah, but it wasn’t her it was a little girl with chicken nuggets so he shared them with her and Seon Min lives in the wild, but on the day of Min Ah’s return he passed while being transported is my guess. Then the alien that took Min Ah told Baek Joong that he has two choices it’s that he can continue this life or go back in time so Min Ah can live again, but their no way to save her since he doesn’t know about it, and of course he picks to redo it all over again so it’s now a constant loophole forever. I would recommend this drama if you want something different overall I wouldn’t really watch it again, but it had its pros and cons.

Not your average school drama

I want a season two right now I had always smiled when this played, this one is also one of my favorite school dramas because it actually seemed like it was a real life one because each character had as story that some of the viewers could relate to, from Qi Zhang’s father died and he only lives with his mother, but still misses his father. Ye Guang having his parents not really care about him, always tells him how to act, always sends him to his room when the parents know that they are in the wrong, doesn’t even celebrate his birthday with them, and always give him harsh punishments with him either getting hit or having to kneel for a long period of time and cannot sit down. Ray having to change himself in order to be liked by his lover which is making himself dress as a girl to the point he has to wear a dress and a wig because his boyfriend only likes girls, but still got cheated on by his boyfriend with a real girl. I don’t think Ah Jian’s story was bad, but he did help Ray out when he saw his boyfriend cheating on him and helped Ray get over his break up by helping him destroy his ex’s motorcycle, but helped him convince himself that he wasn’t bad like that. Overall all of the couples made each other better and more happier with themselves and their chemistry was on top with both of the couples. My favorite couple was Ray and Jian even though at one point their relationship went down, but Jian made sure he wouldn’t lose Ray even if he wasn’t too sure of dating him because he has trust issues from his ex. I also loved all the ost’s because they were fire. I really recommend this drama it’s one of the best ones I’ve seen and didn’t disappoint at all.

I’m Obsessed with this Show

I originally wanted to watch Happy of the End because of Rei who plays Haoren since he’s in the jpop group called One N Only and he’s my favorite member. I will say I didn’t expect me to be obsessed with this drama as much as I am at this moment and this made me even more obsessed with Rei. They had the chemistry and emotions throughout this series and I loved it. I will warn you that there might be spoilers so be aware.
I loved this plot because I felt it didn’t have a direct storyline, but the plot just flowed and it felt right even though there wasn’t an exact theme or storyline. So the story starts with us seeing Chihiro in a pile of trash on the street and Haoren is seen on top of him checking to see if he’s alive and then it goes back to show what happened. It showed that Chihiro was in a bar and was checking Haoren out and they went to a hotel together, but Haoren knocked him out and then it showed him being on the pile of trash. Then Haoren took Chihiro with him and Kaji into the apartment that Haoren bought for the time being and Chihiro found a disposable camera and took care of it and once him and Haoren went on a walk he snapped a picture of Haoren while talking about him mom because Chihiro liked the look on his face, but the picture came out wrong and he got his hands instead of his face. When they printed the pictures out it was just a bunch of pictures of frogs and it triggered Haoren because someone he used to work with was obsessed with frogs, but the place he worked at was a very toxic place that Haoren was beaten up badly that he was in a full body cast in the hospital and that’s when he ran away. During this time Chihiro and Haoren would only be using each other for their own self pleasure until one day they started dating and it was honestly so adorable seeing them date. Also during this time Haoren’s “mother” had passed away and that made him be in a mood where he didn’t want to eat nor be bothered and Chihiro still stayed by his side. Then the guy who was in charge of Haoren’s toxic workplace named Maya found where they were living so they moved to another place, but Maya found Chihiro and even made him do inappropriate things that Chihiro didn’t want, but it was so Maya could have power over Haoren again and this made Haoren so upset that he stabbed Maya and went back to Chihiro so Chihiro felt they needed to run away, but once they got to the train to fully escape Haoren said he was tired of running and said he’s gonna turn himself in and Chihiro was okay with it until Haoren told him to forget about him and the train already departed once he said that and Chihiro would’ve jumped out of the train if he could. Then fast forward to 3 years later and Chihiro got his dream of becoming a successful photographer and Haoren was released from jail, but they had no contact with each other until Haoren found Chihiro’s instagram page where he saw a picture of him smiling and it made Haoren cry and I honestly felt so bad for him, then he saw that Chihiro had an exhibition for his pictures and decided to go to see what he took pictures of. Then the last picture Haoren saw was the picture that Chihiro took of him when they first met and that made Haoren go to the exact same place that the picture was token and Chihiro was there was took a normal picture of him and that was the end. I will say Chihiro was adorable when he started to admire the toy necklace Haoren bought for him and when he lost it he was so upset until they found it and Chihiro was happy again. Overall, this is a show that I definitely recommend and it’s a must watch because this show didn’t feel like a drama, but it was something that felt real. Also Haoren is the most adorable human being ever and him with Chihiro was even more amazing. Plus the whole story was honestly amazing.

You can’t outdo the original

In my opinion I felt Love in the Air Japanese remake had its ups and downs mainly because I didn’t like how Rei was portrayed as a cute and baby like character because Rain in the Thai version didn’t act like that, but only acted cute for Payu. I really loved Fuma and Kai though because they had so much chemistry that whenever they came on the screen I just wanted more of them and less scenes of Arashi and Rei. I also felt that Arashi was super quiet this whole entire series like he would just stare, but only talk whenever he was with Rei. Anyways I may have spoilers so be aware.
This plot was almost exactly like Love in the Air Thailand version, but it felt rushed and I kind of get why it was rushed because it was a short amount of time and I feel it’s also because they wanted to put their own kind of touch to Love in the Air series, which I liked but it did kind of ruin the whole series since you rushed the good scenes only to make the scenes from the Thai version a little bad. My opinion on the characters are very mixed for example I felt Arashi was sort of like a temu version of Payu and we barley got any screen time of him because their story focused mainly on Rei and not the both of them. I always liked the plot where you had everyone in love with Payu and he spoke a lot, but I felt he barley even spoke for example that scene where Rei, Arashi, and Kai are in a cafe talking and then Fuma comes and finally sees Kai from their night of love and the whole scene was probably like 5 minutes, but Arashi was silent the whole time and just looked at everyone like give my boy Shoma (Arashi) some lines please. I felt Rei was an annoying character because all he did was try to act cute the whole series and it wasn’t like the cuteness you see in your favorite actors or idols, but the annoying type of cuteness where you wouldn’t want to see him as much as he was in this series. I really enjoyed him at the very beginning because he was just like Rain in my opinion, but once he started dating Arashi he became sort of annoying and like sort of loud like Jade in middleman’s love. I will also say that spanking scene of Rei and Arashi was very cringy and they kept replaying it over and over and it’s even in the special episode. I really liked Fuma in my opinion like he was just like Prapai for example they were both very loyal to Sky and Kai and they would protect them any day by their horrible and toxic ex. I also am a fan of his because he’s in the boy group Watwing and they have pretty good songs which is why he ate in the Love in the Air song. I am also obsessed with Kai because he’s so pretty and adorable like I wanted to hug him so many times throughout this show. I also liked that this show didn’t have to many scenes of Kai crying because in the Thai version Sky cried a lot and I didn’t want it to be sad either. Overall, I felt that you literally can’t outdo the original and I really loved Fuma and Kai so I’d recommend you should watch this because of them.

There was definitely Love in the Air

I really feel that this drama is one of the best ones ever created since they had so much emotion and a whole bunch of happiness and love throughout both of the couples. I also will say I personally loved P’Payu and Rain’s as a couple more than Prapai and Sky because I felt they were less sad and their steamy scenes were off the charts. I will warn you that there might be spoilers ahead so be aware.
The plot was one that I haven’t seen in a BL yet because they were bikers while also having a mix of school boys. I will say that both Payu and Prapai killed it as bikers because they really looked tough and actually looked so good in the biker fits. The whole story starts with Rain and Sky breaking into an illegal bike race and when Rain got caught he met Payu and when Sky got caught he met Prapai. Rain and Payu’s storyline was really adorable and so addicting because Rain and Payu would always coincidentally meet with each other since Rain’s car would always shut down overtime Payu ends up making Rain so upset that he was going to make Payu fall in love with him no matter what and he did in fact make Payu fall in love with him and my favorite scene from them was when Payu won the bike race against Stop and while stop was complaining non stop Payu was having a steamy scene with his wifey so he could careless about Stop. I feel the reason why I didn’t like Prapai and Sky’s story was because of how much they put Sky’s trauma into the storyline like yes I understand that his ex made an impact on him, but it was proven multiple times that Prapai is a green flag and would not hurt him. When they really got to act like a couple they were adorable, but when they had to add his ex back into the storyline at the last episode it was so painful for me to watch Sky cry again, but it showed again that Prapai will protect Sky no matter what. Even though I can rant about the show all day I don’t want to spoil everything. Anyways I really recommend this drama because it’s a show you definitely can’t miss.

I was robbed of so many couples

Not gonna lie I tried hard to like Pitbabe, but it wasn’t as good as how the trailer made it seem and I was so excited for 6 couples in one series, but as we know it would never work since it’s too much. We basically only got 2-3 couples, but the third one barely had screen time which was Sonic and North, but it was also like they weren’t a couple since they never revealed their feelings but their so close so people would think they are one. I was pretty disappointed with us not getting one certain couple which I will talk about later in my review and I knew they would’ve ate this show up, but I hope we at least get to see them together next season. I will have spoilers so be aware.
I really liked the concept which was racers because it reminded me of Love in the Air which was so good! On the other hand this didn’t go to well for me. I will be honest I wasn’t digging Charlie as much as others were because I just didn’t like the character which was he met Babe and sneaked in the event to ask Babe to teach him how to drive, but instead he had … with him. I guess it reminds me of the novel Jinx where they need to have … so it would make them preform way better than normal and they would suddenly become beast. Not gonna lie I was cringing whenever Charlie and Babe would be saying that their Mama and Papa to each other because that was giving second hand embarrassment to me. I was sad for “Charlie’s death” because of how sad Babe was and how affected he was after that, but once he saw Charlie again he was better than before. I did love Alan and Jeff, I felt their chemistry was off the charts and they were absolutely adorable in every way because Alan wanted to be close with Jeff no matter what and would’ve done anything to make him like him, I loved when Alan went to Charlie to ask him where Jeff was so he could apologize to him and take him out somewhere. I loved their roller rink date because that was the cutest thing on earth. I was so upset when Kenta and Kim didn’t actually get together because they had so much chemistry from that one scene where they made eye contact with each other. I also couldn’t tell if Dean and Winner were supposed to be a couple since they weren’t shown as much as everyone else was. I also felt if they got rid of the Way and Babe storyline we could’ve gotten a Way and Pete storyline because the trailer for season two is so insane for their storyline because when Pete put the flowers on Way’s grave I almost started crying. Overall Pitbabe had its ups and downs, but overall it was a good show and I recommend it.
