Title Never-Ending Summer Spoiler
I agree. I just finished watching the last episode and honestly, both eras were perfect. I enjoyed both eras but…
I agree, they reconciled so quickly and many have mentioned and I think so too, it feels like they just skipped to the kissing, chemistry, and how much a'xiao wants wan wan, instead of showing a conversation between these two mature adults, it just feels like something is missing and after all their memories together and all that distance, something really is missing in their adult era, and I also agree that the fl's trauma was just glazed over and idk if this is the right way to word it but in some cases in the adult arc it felt like she was reduced to an object of wanting and longing for a'xiao instead of an individual who has loved with her whole heart and has lost so much too

the teenage arc was so layered and it just had so much substance and emotion to it, both characters were explored equally and I understood both the ml and the fl and where they were coming from, I wish that the adult arc carried the same amount of weight especially now that they were supposed to be mature and they've been through so much

yes yes yesss the runaway part was the cutest and in my opinion also most memorable it perfectly captured their innocence and love, I just loved their teenage era and thinking back it's a bit crazy to me because i was so excited for their adult era going in but now that i'm done my favorite is definitely the teenage arc and I'm gonna miss it

I agree. I just finished watching the last episode and honestly, both eras were perfect. I enjoyed both eras but…
I agree 100%!! the drama was so cute and both leads had great chemistry and it's def a drama i'll remember, but the reconciliation part felt so rushed in my opinion, I really wanted to see a proper complete conversation between them where they talk about what happened and why the fl left, but like many others have said, it feels like a lot of the talking happened behind the scenes or were just guessed on, but after all the trauma and misunderstandings between them I really wanted an open and honest conversation not just sorrys and affirmations of love, because it made it feel very rushed and choppy esp with everything they've been through, not only that I wish they explored the fl's trauma more in the adult arc because she also suffered and her struggle was just mentioned here and there but never fully addressed, the last ep was beautiful tho, it was so perfecttt, I love that we got one full ep of their life together, i love love when zhou wan proposed and that whole scene, and i loved the last few bits when we find out that our wan wan fell first 🥹

Title Never-Ending Summer Spoiler
1. So everspeak company (luxixiaos dads company) needs powerful connection one is boxing construction or whatever…
omg tysmm I appreciate it! 🫶

I rewatched some bits and what i'm also getting is that a'xiao's aunt and dad prefer diff companies to win so the dad prefers boxing construction and i think the aunt prefers the company lu xixiao is leading so maybe that's why they're rivals as well. i am still confused about one thing wan wan gave the aunt information about the dad's connections with boxing constructions for revenge right, but boxing constructions isn't even leading the project anymore, idk maybe i'm looking too deep into it 🤷

i also think that wan wan deeply cares about avenging her father even more than what company she's part of, which is why she wants to desperately join phase II, even if her company didn't win it, can this be why she's keeping a'xiao away because she doesn't want him involved in her revenge plan again?

i'm excited to see where the plot goes with this, i just hope that they don't rush through it and that they give us a good payoff, i also hope our main leads can finally resolve their differences without hurting each other more 😭

Title Never-Ending Summer Spoiler
okay so i just finished ep 22 and i'm lowkey confused about some things, would someone be willing to clarify? 🙏
1. why are zhou wan and lu xixiao considered rivals? and how does the whole business competition thingy work?
2. also i know zhou wan is trying to get revenge on lu xixiao's dad, but how will her joining the phase II team help with that? and at the end of ep 22 why is the info zhou wan gave to the aunt so important?
3. at the end of ep 21, why did the aunt say that boxing construction is her rival? wasn't the competition her idea to pick the best branch to run the project, and wasn't a'xiao's dad against the whole thing?
4. also is this project an extension of what happened to the factory years ago, or are they building something new?
5. i watched ep 23 preview, and a'xiao keeps mentioning how zhou wan is indebted to him, i know he deserves an explanation after everything that happens, is that the debt he's talking about or is it financial debt that maybe zhou wan hasn't fully paid yet?

also, idk if it's just me but i think a lot of the confusion comes from context lost in translation 😭
