Omg I love the novel. I’ve read it so many times so this is exciting. I hope they follow the novel but I shouldn’t hope so much. Please please please have actors that suit the characters
Um I just want to ask you did you really see maturity and strength in Ye Seo's character? She just seemed like…
Okay! Sorry for being hasty, I skipped through to ep 17 and now I understand why you say that she matures. maybe she isn't quite at the level she should be for her age and she's not guilty of the crime but still her greed to be the best and to get into medical school is frighteningly blinding her to that leech of a woman and everything else around her.
I didn’t realize this when I first started watching but now that the drama’s nearly finished, Yeseo has to…
Um I just want to ask you did you really see maturity and strength in Ye Seo's character? She just seemed like a spoiled child to me and as the show progressed (I read your comment at ep 3 and expected a good change but I came back after ep 14 wondering where you saw a change) she just became more angry and resentful all because of studying and not being number one in school or having her first love loving her back. She redirected and vented her anger like she was a wildfire. And after reading that spoiler if she really did it, I doubt even less that she 'matured'. And then the adults around her reassuring her that her killing someone isn't wrong definitely enables her actions. Even despite how her mother raised her, and the thoughts the tutor was whispering into her ear, she still was capable of making decisions on her own. She is at fault just as much as they are/were.
I loved it but was disappointed with the makeup and clothing done for the girl who played Ying Tai, I knew she was supposed to be acting as a man but she just didn't look like one which made me confused every time someone called her brother. Her wardrobe and hair and makeup was not fooling me into thinking she was a man (so I kinda laughed that the cast was fooled but you know this story is years old and this show is just fantasy so of course they wouldn't notice). Plus, on poster previews for the show they had completely transformed her so she looked different but for some reason they didn't do it in the actual series??? I honestly don't know........Besides that little hiccup I enjoyed watching this story.
Edit: I found it but it wasn't a drama it was a Chinese movie.
I would like other people to discuss with me and do detective work to figure out what happened to Nam and why everyone is conceling things from Mai.
I am honestly so confused. I haven't watched fully ep8 yet but ahhh my heart and mind are doing flips
