I'm a little disappointed that none of the girls in her class are into H.O.T or whatever idols were popular back in 1998-2000. Like I can understand the fencers were too busy to live the ordinary teen life. But what about their classmates? Imo it lacks the 90s vibes for me for this reason. Like I know the idol culture was going strong at that time. But screenwriters for some reason chose not to show it at all.

Ikr, I can only imagine how stressful they all feel by being forced to obey the senior's every command. Just finished D.P. and now watching this, I think this aspect of their culture is truly ridiculous. No wonder they lead by suicide rates.
Korean seniority culture is so toxic. A coach not doing anything about the two girls being abused by an older classmate is amusing. And then their society whine about bullying being so widespread there. If someone just a year older tried smth similar with me, s/he would have been beaten to death.
