I suppose for some a dead Yi Jin is better than a Yi Jin who's alive and not with Hee Do. I'll take alive and…
Didn't HD's mother say she recently saw YJ in one of the early episodes when they show them in 2022? Why dead lmao

I'm a little disappointed that none of the girls in her class are into H.O.T or whatever idols were popular back in 1998-2000. Like I can understand the fencers were too busy to live the ordinary teen life. But what about their classmates? Imo it lacks the 90s vibes for me for this reason. Like I know the idol culture was going strong at that time. But screenwriters for some reason chose not to show it at all.

It's amusing how the same kdrama can be a masterpiece for one person but a complete snoozefest for the other.

pretty sure this was a thing in a lot Asian schools, not just Korea. I've definitely seen it in Japanese manga…
Now when I think about it, I recall I saw this in other school dramas like Class of Lies and Reply 1997. I guess it indeed is a fashion ~

I don't think it's school fashion, but mostly for girls comfort, I've seen some Kpop idols also wearing pants…
At first I thought she's wearing it for warmth during winter.

It’s a character trait. I’d don’t think you’re allowed to even dress like that at school lol. I see this…
By character trait, you mean it makes her look even more clumsy and mischievous? lol

It actually exists so much that it irritates me .. It's fine that they have to call their seniors, unnie, hyung, oppa…
Ikr, I can only imagine how stressful they all feel by being forced to obey the senior's every command. Just finished D.P. and now watching this, I think this aspect of their culture is truly ridiculous. No wonder they lead by suicide rates.

Korean seniority culture is so toxic. A coach not doing anything about the two girls being abused by an older classmate is amusing. And then their society whine about bullying being so widespread there. If someone just a year older tried smth similar with me, s/he would have been beaten to death.

I like Ruby's character the most here. So bright and positive.
What a disappointing ending. But I guess we wouldn't have had a second season if not for that shitty end.
