you should definitely read the novel as well if you get the chance!! i watched ifylita shortly after it had finished airing so i could binge it and nothing could match the absolute heartbreak when i found out they had no plans for a second season. reading the novel back then was the biggest closure i could get, it will make you laugh and cry it's just so worth it 🥹

i can say with full confidence that i personally love this movie so so so much more than the drama. this movie really found me at the right time. the cinematography is great and the platonic love is portrayed so beautifully it made me cry multiple times. if anyone knows more movies or dramas like this please recommend i can't seem to fill the hole that this movie has left in my heart 😩
i started watching this with high expectations bc i thought it would be another masterpiece like i feel you linger in the air and although this drama isn't the worst it's also not all that great. the main thing wrong with this is the script and it needs a better director who also knows how to get the actors to show their full potential and chemistry on screen. some people didn't like the actors and said they don't have chemistry but i can't fully agree to that bc i feel like it's that way bc the plot is all over the place. overall this story has potential but the way it was executed in this drama was not the way to go. i'll keep watching this and hope it gets better as the story progresses and comes together
i learned to love this drama. at first i was considering dropping it but i stuck around for faymay and i don't regret it. ofc the drama was a bit all over the place but at some point i started enjoying the chaos of it 🫠
i just watched this after putting it off for 5 years bc i had been scared off by some ppl's reviews and all i have to say is i wish i had watched this earlier but im also glad i got to watch it today. i know for a fact that if i had watched this before i wouldn't have been able to understand the movie and enjoy it as much as i did bc im much more mature now than i was 5 years ago. this movie might not be for everyone as it's rated r but if you keep that in mind and have somewhat of a prior understanding of the plot (and certain possibly triggering scenes) i highly recommend this esp to my fellow sapphics (they did not hold back on the explicit scenes 🤭)
S2 rlly kicked off with a killer episode. The acting and chemistry improved so much after s1 ending at this point I can confidently say they're my favourite thai gl couple 😩
