Yeah, too bad most of those people who watched in those countries didn't like it. #1 on Netflix just means a lot…
I was talking about soompi forum, if you want me to talk about soompi's news website I've read come on every tkem article and in no article I saw more than 3 negative comments. Also have you noticed how many comments each tkem 's article got? Much higher than any other k drama. I am fully aware of critics not liking this one but guess what critics actually liked heirs a lot, that drama won so many awards, heirs was critically acclaimed. Now I'm pretty sure this will win some awards at sbs drama awards. It's also quite possible to get nomination for Asian drama awards, Korean drama award,Seoul and baeksang arts awards. Minding you cloy only won popularity awards on Baeksang this year, not best . Tkem fairly has so many admirers. Let's think this way if most people didn't really like it as you said then they wouldn't bother watching videos of tkem on You Tube. However I admit it this disappointed a lot of people. Expectations for this one was sky high, a lot of people were expecting something 11/10 in every aspect, it's dubbed as the most anticipated drama of the year by the media, when expectation was that high I'm not surprised to see a lot of people being disappointed. Also everyone is free to rate this show as they please, if you rate it 3 then it's 3, if I rate it 9 then it's 9.
I'm sorry for the mis leading into about imdb ratings, last time I checked tkem's was higher.

OK LMH is popular, there's nothing to argue but kge and wdh's ig followers doubled. Also you can't deny LMH's follower increasing has nothing to do with tkem. Yes I know I'll find more negative comments about this show across the web compared to other shows , but you know what I'll find way more comments about this show in general across the web. This drama trended world wide on its premier and during last few episodes, the only other time I saw a k drama trending worldwide was cloy, once on its finale. Also dramabeans is divided but on soompi almost everyone is positive. Ik I can rate a show in twitter and you tube but I can see what people think of a show ,specially on twitter for example backstreet seems to getting negative feedback more than positive. If I'm not mistaken tkem's thread is the only k drama thread to surpass 1000 pages on soompi forum, where there is almost zero negativity. And I would rate this drama higher than 10 if I could if it's not the same cast and writer.

Let's start, shall we? Where does most people share their opinions? In social media, right? I've been following the hastag on twitter and almost everyone liked it.Almost every comment in you tube is positive. Also mdl is not the only website where people can rate a show, in imdb tkem's rating is 8.6 ,higher than cloy, in asianwiki 85, cloy stands at 86, not bad for a show which you're calling that most people didn't like. If most people didn't like it then it would end up like bride of habaek or melting me softly. And if most people didn't find this show good I doubt LMH would get 6 million New followers already . Also I'm not saying that nobody disliked it, in fact I agree a great number of people did but obviously they're not a match of the number of people liked it.
Gosh! I can't even watch this after reading the comments and reviews. Is this series that bad?
I enjoyed it. But I can't say whether you'll like or not. People have different preferences. I guess it's better if you give it a try and if you don't feel it you can just drop it.
The king eternal monarch officially ten times more successful than this drama though.
Their chemistry was lit, I enjoyed their moments together. Yeah sure tkem got the buzz cause it was Lee Min Ho who is the unrivalled king of K drama his comeback. But it even surpasses lotbs popularity internationally imo. Also Lee Min Ho is more than a capable actor . And your argument that say fan can only help when someone is young, doesn't go with LMH. He's legit 33. If all the supports he gets was just because of his look then he wouldn't be at top for nearly 12 years. He's been the most popular Korean actor for a decade, you can't achieve it just by looking glamorous, there are other actors who're also handsome. Also you can't have that big fanbase for so long just because you're handsome. Also there is not a single actor who can challenge popularity and influence of Lee Min Ho. And you should note it that he's far more awards than all most every actor of his age. You can't achieve that just because you're handsome. I've another thing to add, Korean ministry of culture has been conducting a survey since 2016 and according to the survey LMH has always come first among Korean actors and actresses minding you he's in military for two years and in 2019 he didn't appear in any drama yet no one could take his throne. If anything you should be worried about Ji Chang Wook . Meeting Me Softly is a certified flop and this drama can too. None of these two received positive review either. It's Ji Chang Wook's who's at the edge.
Happy Birthday to a beautiful, humble and generous soul who keeps me going on. May you enjoy only peace, success and happiness. Wishing you all the best

Rantings solely doesn't show success of a drama even if this drama becomes successful it'll be nearly impossible to surpass tkem. Studio Dragon made more profit with tkem than cloy.

Knetizens are spamming sbs to cancel this lol. Yeah sure many hated tkem but when I followed the hastag on twitter most of the people were positive can't say the same about this one. Also in never or other major Korean sites comments for tkem were mostly positive and it's the other way around for this drama. Also I wasn't talking about whether it's good or bad I was just talking about success despite low ratings in Korea it's a hit which is barely the case for backstreet rookie.
Do you really think this show can match tkem's number of viewers? I can guarantee you something this will not…
I've already noticed but even so there were people who disliked tkem there were fans who liked. Plus in tkem there were enough room for viewers to create theories and discuss even the smallest details but it's certainly not the case here. And it's ok to not be ok is airing now. That one will get more buzz. A lot of people were watching tkem compared to this. I remember tkem was ranked between 300-400 in term of popularity before it started airing where it's just at 900 something.
I'm glad that i never bought plays the same character in all drama. Like really ? Ok most of his characters are rich but in no way they're similar. Kim Tan and Gu Jun Pyo were both rich, high school students and fell for someone poor but I don't think honestly anyone can say they're similar . If anything young do represented jun pyo not kim tan. Can you compare heo joon jae with these two? Lee Yun Sung and Choi Young had 180 degree different personality. In 90% drama Male lead is filthy rich but when it's lmh everyone has something to say.
I can't understand low number of watchers. What man, this is Ji Chang wook!!! I know melting me softly was a ...…
Compared to other popular actors JCW's dramas in general don't have a high number of viewers. So it's not unusual. Also it's ok to not be OK's premiere is just a day after its and that's Ksh's return so people are more into that drama.
