Omg I wish I could leave a voice note to express my exact feelings reading this. I was gonna leave a review of my own but you pretty much summed it up. As a stand alone, I guess itād be considered a masterpiece but itās hard to consider it one since it is after all an adaptation. Go Ahead remains my top Cdrama and i went into this remake with little to no expectations tbh. I enjoyed every moment and tried not to compare it until the time skip. it was just soooo hard to not compare.
One of the major things I hated in this was the way San Haās trauma was basically overlooked? EXCUSE ME, his sisters death and his motherās abandonment TRAUMATIZED this boy. HOW do you just sum up that trauma with insomnia??? And to make it worse it wasnāt even addressed much. Iām to believe all his pain was erased from just having a shared drink with his brother and talking about it once?
OH AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE FACT THAT THEY MADE HIM BEG HIS MOTHER?!! She had zero remorse.
Honestly that brought my rating down to a 7.5 cos that was a major plot that needed a massive resolve not just half an episode! Iāll be leaving a review once I get all my thoughts in order š
Exactly. I came here to see comments and see I already saw this lmao. I have no memory of it so must have been…
lmfao SAME. I legit was questioning if and when I watched this and saw I had when I came here. I have very little memory of it and Iām glad itās on Viki now haha. Watching it and enjoying it
I've just finished this. It is a beautiful tale of friendship, loss, reuniting and discovering real happiness in each other. It gives you the feeling of nostalgia
However, I saw comments here comparing this to Go Ahead and I just wanna say, it is nothing like GO AHEAD. I found myself skipping through some episodes, falling asleep here and there due to how slow it got at times and ngl, it was a show I could let play in the bg for a bit and not feel like I missed anything.
As an avid Go Ahead lover, this show doesn't compare to it in anyway. It;s a good enough show but if you're considering watching it cos you're looking for something like Go Ahead, this is not it.
I'm also considering starting the anime but I'm scared of the length, where to watch it, and the watch order of…
Honestly the anime is very worth it. Donāt think about how long it is and just start, you wonāt be able to stop. you can start on Netflix (if you already have a sub) and then if youāre really enjoying it and want more and donāt mind paying for it, then go to crunchyroll to continue. If you donāt have a Netflix sub and can pay for a subscription, I suggest watching on Crunchyroll fully and to get the most out of the show, please watch with subs not English dubs š
itās an open ending (not for the couple but for the plot). Itās a feel good series so not a sad ending or anything, itās just the ending seems like an opening for a second season. Go ahead and watch!
Watch:- Utsukushi Kare- Eien no Kinou- Life Senjou no Bokura- Kimi no Koto dake mite itai- Bokura no Micro na…
Watched everything on this list except Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai and enjoyed each and every one of them but I can say the only ones that are really on par or ābetterā than Jack āOā Frost are Eternal Yesterday (Eien no Kinou) and Life Senjou no Bokura. Iām a BIG Utsukushii Kare lover but if weāre to really break it down, the story telling/flow is a little weak compared to Jack āOā Frostā¦and they had 2 seasons to really make it the bomb.
Is there anyone who is watching this drama to give me an idea!I like watching family dramas that have positive…
Not what you asked but I thought Iād recommend anyway. You might enjoy āOnce Againā, so give it a try if you havenāt seen it yet. Itās definitely my favourite makjang yet.
I have now finished it and I frankly loved it. It's one of the best dailies I've ever watched.
Just wondering, what episode does So Ri become...more aware basically? I'm on ep 41 rn and I'm super pissed at her situation that she's not aware of. So when does she find out about "the other oneā

Still I give this an 8.5.
I suggest watching her in The Untamed. She really carried her character āWen Qingā. She was also in Immortal Samsara and other older shows.
I havenāt started this show yet but I have no doubts sheāll be a delight to watch again.
