i'm up to episode 15 and honest i'm kind of bored? and the first half is supposed to be the more exciting part? this makes me not want to continue. love both ZLY and LGX so i really wanted to like this. but really, not much is happening.

and what's with the super heavy unflattering make up on ZLY?? she needs to fire the makeup artist. i'm not loving her costumes either, really dislike the outfits w/o sleeves.

i'd say yes! the fantasy genre is also usually not my cup of tea but i liked Starry Love and i really liked this one too.

i totally agree with you. there's well developed and organic romance between the main couple. it's true there's not a lot of kissing scenes but to me that's not what romance is about. the romance here is shown through actions/acts of service rather than words, and that's so much better IMO

i expected epic love story but instead got epic gaslighting from both characters, but mainly the FL. i can at least understand why he loves her. but show did an awful job at showing why she loves him. actually i never did feel that she loves him at all. at best she treated him like a pet that she sometimes protected because she owns him, and sometimes viciously kicked because he did something she didn't like. not my idea of love at all. just basically a show of full of toxic behavior. stay away!

the whole point is that they cut the wrong scenes. left the draggy parts. also known as poor editing.

so you're acknowledging that there is a lack of "romantic" love between the main characters and that the evil characters do "win'"... but those aren't valid reasons to not enjoy the show? oooookay..... whatever floats your boat!

these are also valid points:

- story jumped all over the place, confusing and and hard to follow. This was supposed to be 60 episodes, which then got cut to 40, so parts felt rushed. But equally, poor editing because there was at least 3 episodes where the ML just cried over the FL leaving him/dying with no plot progression. Also, didn’t get the point of some of the side stories- they didn’t even wrap up properly (again, poor editing)

- seemed like the evil guys always won. In other fantasy dramas, there is always a balance, but here it was skewed. E.g. evil sister’s punishment lasts for one day. Then she gets to go home and kill a major character and cause chaos. Her character also did this in the dream arc.

honestly don't know why people actually like this. other than the many many costumes and great CGI (thanks to its big budget), the show is a giant mess.

my main issue with it is pretty well summarized by this viki review:

- many will see the relationship with the leads as true love, but IMHO, it was a very toxic relationship. There was never any trust between the leads, which is why so many misunderstandings took place. The FL also strings the ML along for most of the show just to betray him time and time again. It was odd, one minute she isn’t talking to him, the next minute, she is being all lovey dovey with him. ML didn’t know any better and just put up with it. Hard to watch.

I could not diasgree more with your recommendation. till the end of the moon is absolutely terrible. initial premise is interesting but the actual story is so bad. FL is probably the worst i've ever seen, i actually actively dislike her (not the actress, just her character). it's got good costumes and special effects but that's about it. please don't waste your time like i did.
