A Love So Questionable
In all honesty, I'm surprised I watched the whole thing. I mostly finished it for Neo, and the visuals. I was excited for this, especially since I love Prim, and would love to see her with a different on screen partner, but my expectations must've been too high. I'm not going to compare this to any of the other adaptations. Why? Because I haven't seen any of them. Therefore, this is a honest review from someone that didn't know how the story went, and just watched it without any knowledge. That being said, I may not have the best opinion because I haven't seen any of the other adaptations, therefore, I can't compare them on how good any of them are.The cast was great mostly, but it's just the fact that the storytelling wasn't great. I love Prim, whether it's for her acting or just for the actor, and I'd love to see her in a lot more, especially Romance, but this.. this was not it. Dew just has a stiff face with his acting. I doubt that's just how the character is. I've only seen Dew in one other thing, and that was F4 Thailand. He seemed to have pretty good expressions, although I don't remember it too much since I watched it last June, but it seems that in his more recent dramas, it hasn't been too well. I don't want to criticize his acting too much, but honestly he needs some acting classes to fix those expressions.
I'm not going to get too in depth with the story, for the fact that I have not seen how it is in other adaptations so the story could just be like that. But, I just want to say it didn't feel hooking. About half the series, 9 episodes I'm pretty sure, it takes place of Som-o in high school, and the rest of it is her in college and the adult life. I don't know if it's just the chemistry or the way the last few episodes were, but I just felt bored.
I felt little chemistry. I don't know if it's because I've seen Prim and Dew with a different pairing that I didn't feel the chemistry like the other pairings, but I just felt like they were awkward. Aren't they like childhood friends? So why would they be awkward with each other? Maybe that's just how the story is, but that's doubtful.
In all, this felt dragging. I didn't feel any fun with it during the last 4-6 episodes. The relationship was confusing to me, especially with the proposal with the second lead, like, I didn't even know they were together. I really wanted to finish it to see who would be end game, but in the end, I wish I wouldve dropped it.
The only thing good in this show is the high school life and Khao & News relationship. Wouldn't recommend to someone with high expectations.

WE ARE in love!
We are, a long awaited series of mine. Not only did it include one of my favorite ships, PondPhuwin, but it also awoke a love for AouBoom.NOTE: If there happens to be mistakes, I apologize. I currently have nails on and I haven't gotten better at typing on my phone, therefore I used speech to text. Please inform me on if I made any mistakes!
ANYWAYS! Let's get to the review :)
We Are is my series that you don't LOVE, but can't stop watching. Some may disagree BUT, We Are wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Although it had its rough spots, they also had moments where I couldn't stop watching.
Phum and Peems story started when Phum accidentally kicks a ball and it happened to hit Peem's artwork that he had been working on for the museum showing in his department, which he studies Arts, if that wasn't obvious. A furiated Peem punches him which leads to Phum being upset. Phum pressures his friend to show him where Peem is. Once shown, Phum wants to make a deal. He offers for Peem to pay money, but obviously, he doesn't have that much, therefore there is an agreement where Peem must be Phum's slave. As they hang out together Phum suddenly realizes that this is more than just an agreement, he's developing feelings.
Their story was good, thats about it. As much as I love these two together, considering how much I love Never Let Me Go, them too in this just wasn't it. It wasn't like their chemistry wasn't good, or their acting wasn't good, it was just the script and the storytelling that made it go downhill for me. About a few episodes in, I don't really remember which one, these two kiss, but it isn't until almost the very last episode that they get together. It's understandable if the writers didn't want to put them together right away, even after a kiss, but to drag it out so long that they don't get together, even though we know both of them have liked each other for however many episodes, is too much. Overall I'd give this a couple about a 7 out of 10 because of the dragging. Nothing about them was bad, it was just how the story went.
Q and Toeys story began before the present day. Toey had known Q before Q knew him. Thekr back story, long story short, Toey had liked Q since before, leading him to want to go to college for Arts. Here, Q is Toeys mentor. Again, as the last two, they begin to hang out together, and this relationship turns more than just a mentor and a mentee.
These two, as much as I loved them in My School President, this.. this just wasn't it. I don't know if it was because I just didn't feel the chemistry this series, or if it was because I felt like their scenes were repeating, but I found myself beginning to skip almost every single scene there were for them. If you love Winny and Satang then I'm sure you will love this pair, but they just weren't for me this series.
Tan and Fang.. MY CUTIES!! Tan had liked Fang since before the first episode, therefore he asks Phum, Fangs brother, to set him up. As the story goes on, these two develop a romantic relationship early in the drama. I don't really have much to say about them when it comes to their story because I felt like they weren't shown as much as the other two couples that have been mentioned.
As mentioned, these two, along with the next couple I'm going to mention, didn't get much screen time in my opinion. Honestly, I liked this couple and the next couple I'm going to mention more than the other two. I felt the love between Aou and Booms characters. I had seen these two only one other time in Hidden Agenda. I have loved them and hidden agenda, but I think this drama may or may not have made them in one of my tops of GMMTV couples. When it comes to them and their story, I feel like it was one of the best out of these couples.
Chain and Pun. Best friends who felt like they were never going to become more. I would give a description of their story, but there's not much to say. I'm not saying this in a way that I'm saying I don't like their chemistry or friendship or anything, but oh boy, did these two make me doubt that they were even going to become a couple. It wasn't until about the 15th episode that we finally got a hint of them possibly ending up together. These two are so cute, but I felt like they barely got any screen time. Pun is such a cute character, and I'm so excited to watch Poon in more dramas, but other than the fact that they were cute, we got nearly nothing from them. That doesn't make me not love them, because every single scene that had them in it, I was sat. I hope to see these two in another drama together, where hopefully they actually have screen time and don't get together the very last episode. (also, in need of more MarcPoon!!)
Whats an unexpected couple you didn't expect?? š§šš«·
THATS RIGHT!!! Matt and Mick!!!
Although they didn't really end up together.. With that scene in ep 15, (or 14..i can't remember, it all begins to blur after ep 10) I'd like to imagine they have something going on. ANYWAYS!! They're cutie and I hope that someday we'll get a special episode and confirm my imagination.
In all, this series was full of comedy, youth, and of course, romance. Although it wasn't the best, that doesn't make it the worst. It dragged, but it had good moments. Although, it could've been packed into 10-13 EPs, I'll still appreciate what we got. Lets meet again in the future, We Are.

CUTEST CUTIES TO EVER CUTIE!!!
Boys be brave.. You did it. MY CUTIES!!! I can't lie when I say they are SOOO cute and I can't believe its already ending. Everything was great from the acting to the music in some scenes. I wish it was longer, but it was great while it lasted!!STORY:
Jung Ki Sub is Kim Jin Woos friend, if you can even call him that. His acquaintance at best. When Jung Ki Sub asks to stay at his place, and having no choice but to accept, how will Jin Woo be able to keep it all in when Ki Sub is his secret crush?
THOUGHTS:
Lets cut to it. As much as I'd LOOOOVEE to give this a 10/10, I just can't. Somethings.. Missing. First off, the second couple. I felt like the 2nd couples screen time was rushed. They gave JUST ENOUGH for me to understand what was going on. As much as I enjoy both of their visuals, if you're going to not give at least close to an equal amount of screen time, why include them? It felt like they had less screen time than a cameo in a drama. Secondly, the female character. I'm not saying that I hate her. Personally, she is such a cutie and I would have loved to seen more of her and I can understand her doing what she did, but its just the way she felt the need to be so upset with Ki Sub and even trying to ruin him and Jin Woos relationship. It might be reasonable, it might not be, but to me its kind of.. Crazy? I mean yeah, I may do something crazy to protect my friends, but if its in the past then it's in the past.
ANYWAYS. Now that we've gotten the bad out of the way, lets cut to the good!
Almost every scene between the two brought a smile to my face, the twos chemistry is BREWING!!! Everything from the staring into the eyes to even just giving him a keychain made me giggle. The communication? Lacking? NO! Although Jin Woo usually kept to himself, there was still such a bond between the two that made it a great dynamic. Speaking of the dynamic.. Jin Woo being like a black cat and Ki Sub a golden retriever?? AHHH!!! I might just pass out from cuteness!! Their pairing altogether is just GOLD. The warmth they could feel within each otherš„¹š„¹ The way Ki Subs heart monitor would increase because of Jin Woo?? MY CUTIES!!!
In all, I love this SOOO MUCH. And other than the things I've mentioned, this drama was so cutie and I'd put my life on the line for Jin Woo and his cute expressionsš«”

A second chance at love
"I love you" aren't usually just words to throw around. They have meaning behind it, which is usually to show how you feel about someone. They're words to express your feelings. Sometimes it's thrown around carelessly, but sometimes it has true feelings behind it.Why did I decide to start it off this way? Well, in the 5th episode, Miyata hesitates so say that he loves Iwanaga due to what I believe is fear. As they rekindled their high school love, it would be reasonable to be scared to be left alone once again. Although this drama has its flaws, it also can show real life situations. Love isn't just something to be thrown around, unless your a player. The fear of abandonment is real and is understandable to why Miyata didn't say he loved Iwanaga.
As Miyata is now an editor for Iwanaga, he must try to keep their personal life from their work life. Iwanaga wants to start over again and have a chance at being with Miyata again, but as said earlier, he is scared to be left again. But when Iwanaga and Miyata share a moment, there is no turning back. One kiss turns into two, two kisses turns into three, and three kisses turns into something more than just a kiss.
What I liked about this series was definitely the chemistry. As always, Japan always has great tension between the two characters. I also enjoyed the background to get a glimpse of the past. Adding details is everything!!!
While this was a great series, there was flaws. The unnecessary characters that got in the way of their love was upsetting. I can understand 1 which is even a lot for a short 6 episode show, but more? Cmon..
Overall, as all series have, it was good with patchy moments. While more growth between the characters would've been better, it definitely wasn't something too horrible. They were cutiesšø

a cute story
This story is just about a writer that has a new roommate, and that roommate is secretly a big fan of her work, yet she doesn't know that the writer is living with her. It's a wholesome short girl love and it's enjoyable. it's only about a 25-30 minutes watch and can be easily binged.
Although it's a bit cheesy, it's pretty good for a low budget. I wish there were more episodes and moments together but it was well made for a short story. If I ever want to quickly binge something, this will be my to-do š

Bad Yet Good
Before I go on about this one, I myself have not seen the original version (thai.) Therefore, i can not compare this really, BUT this did seem like a somewhat good Korean remake.I have seen clips of the og, and this one, in my opinion, was pretty good. This focuses on the story of which was the side couple in the thai version. (from what I've heard)
The story was a little boring, and also a bit confusing in my opinion. The chemistry was SOMEWHAT there, but I didn't feel it a whole lot. The actors are cute, I'll give it that. Though, that couldn't fully save this.
The acting was pretty good for what seems are rookie actors, so I won't fully criticize it for that. The editing? Questionable at times, but okay.
It felt more fluffy-ish than anything. It was confusing at times, but pretty cute nonetheless.
I wish I could say more, but considering that I haven't seen the og, WHICH I'LL WATCH SOONš¤, I can't say much in comparison.
I wouldn't recommend if you were looking for an intense, well put-together kbl. This is more a fluffy, more amateur series. Cute though!!
(sorry if it sounds like I repeated a bunch of thingsšŖ)

Love for all!!
As someone who has watched the Japanese series recently, as in finishing it right when this started airing, this series is a watch I couldn't miss out on!!As the anime and Thai adaptations were being released at the same time, GMMTV had to put the series for Thai viewers only. But did that stop some of us? NO. I watched this on so many websites that I've lost count. I WANTED TO SEE TAYNEW!!! I finished watching the JP version, started the anime, and started this all at the same time. It felt like I had deja vu.. BUT That's okay because this story may just be a favorite of mine.
This story portrays Achi, a average office worker, who suddenly gains the power of mind reading with any physical contact at the age of 30. Karan, someone born with everything, right? Except being able to make the one he loves, fall for him. Until.. Achi bumps into Karan and suddenly hears his thoughts. Karan, the best worker, most handsome, most popular, is in love with him?
TayNew will never disappoint me honestly. No matter of I've seen all of their series or not, they are the IT couple!!! There weren't many side characters that made me upset, surprisingly..
The side couple, Jinta and Min, are CUTIES!! I loved that couple in the Japanese one and I do in this one!! Mark (Min) is just a cutie overall and I'm glad to see him on screen. Although at times, just like in the JP ver, I had to take a moment before continuing the scene. Cringe but fun!!
This series overall was great, just like the Japanese series. If you need a wholesome love story, this is for you. I love TayNew and can't wait to see more series of them!!
P.S. the cat? CUTEST ONE OF ALL!!!!

WE, WHICH REVOLVE AROUND THE SUN
23.5, how I love you. How could I not? I love love LOVEEE MilkLove and ViewJune, but as much as I was excited for this series, I may have let my expectations take a toll on my rating.STORY: Ongsa, whos just moved to Bangkok, meets Sun, who's a bubbly and bright person, just as her name suggests. Although it may seem like they've never met, Ongsa secretly has known Sun. How? They met through Instagram, of which Ongsa uses a fake name as "Earth." Scared of how she'll react, Ongsa keeps this a secret from Sun, as she doesn't want to lose her and this friendship that begins.
LIKES:
-Luna and Aylin my cutiesšš
-The patience in the couples relationship
-The friendships within the characters
-Side Characters in General
DISLIKES:
-The awkwardness between the characters.. Weren't they supposed to be together? They had known each other for a bit before, yet could barely speak to each other without one of them either feeling flustered or just not knowing how to speak inn general. I can understand if it's due to their ages because I'm around that age range, but even I have seen less awkward couples.
-I was looking through other reviews and someone mentioned the fact that they didn't even really have a reason to like each other, which I slowly began to agree. Other than the fact that they share a bond for the fact that they have a FRIENDSHIP, they don't really have a valid reason to of liked each other. I understand if it's just you fell in love, but we didn't even see any of that.
-The story overall went downhill after halfway. I only continued to watch for the cute scenes of the couples, but even that almost couldn't keep me up. I loved MilkLove in Bad Buddy, but this.. It's just not doing it. I'm usually good at keeping ongoing series, but I got episodes behind because I just couldn't get through episodes.
OVERALL:
I can't bring myself to give this lower than an 8, for the fact that I love these two couples too much. This won't stop me from loving them, but this just wasn't it. Other than the cute scenes and great OST, there wasn't anything special. Just a plain gmmtv high school series but gl version. It's not a horrible start at gl for gmmtv, but it definitely could've been better.

COOKING LIKE A CHEF
A poor(ish) culinary student and a rich med student. Put those 2 together and you get a cute relationship!! I LIVE for OffGun. I mean, who doesn't? If you've seen their previous works then you already know that it'll be a great paring.STORY:
Third year culinary students Prem, Dynamite, and Samsi/Unky are the best of friends. They've been together since the 1st year of culinary classes. Trusting their friendship and skills, they join a cooking competition, known as Super Monster Chef (aka A BIG DEAL.) Prem then meets Ten, a med student. When Ten asks Prem for cooking lessons, he agrees due to money problems. What will happen when sparks begin to fly in the kitchen?
FAVSSS!!!
Let me start off with the chemistry. Nothing can go wrong between Off and Gun!! But.. Neo and Aungpao? Let me just- AHHHHHHHH!!!! I LOVEEE THEM!! Neo can have chemistry with just about anyone. Take the actors from Only Friends for example, you could ship him with any of them and I'd be like "I could see it." But they came to win their fans hearts and THEY DID. Aungpao is such a great actor and I'm excited for his future projects, whether its with Neo or not.
THE OST WAS SO CATCHY!! Everytime it played in the background I couldn't stop myself from singing "You give me a sugar rush, you're my baby crush!!"
NEEDS SOME.. FIXING.
The storyline was a little messy. The acting wasn't as good as other series, but I can understand with the script. The random time jump?? It could have been better. I would like to see more series where they're out of their college/high school days. Especially with OffGun. Cmon GMMTV!! They're in their 30's, lets see some more mature series which I know they can do with their potential.
Overall, this was a sweet, lighthearted series. I would recommend to those who just need a wholesome watch for a bit. Plus, the friendship between Unky and Metha was just AMAZING. I laughed at almost every scene of theirs.

Things, Things, and More Things
This series was something. I was quite excited when I found out about this due to the description being weird, but capturing, but.. i was disappointed. Not to the point that it was horrible, but to the point where I just didn't get the excitement I had gotten in the first few episodes.THE STORY:
Han Hae-Na: Hae Na, played by Park Gyu Young, is an upbeat woman who has a curse. This curse prevents her from kissing anyone. When one is kissed on the lips, at Midnight (12am) she will turn into a furry friend! This will continue to happen at midnight for 100 days until she can share that same moment with the one she kissed, but in her dog form. If that cannot be fulfilled, she will stay a dog forever. But, when she gets her first kiss, it is by the one she never thought to have eyes for, Jin Seo Won. Now having shared this moment with Seo Won, she must do the same but in her special form. This could be easy, except, Seo Won has a fear of dogs.
MY THOUGHTS:
The original premise caught my interest. Why? Because it seemed new. (To me at least.) The first episode were good, but the airing schedule caused it to go down hill. Not only did it go down hill from the schedule, it went downhill in the story too. It began to drag. And near the end it was kind of a series to watch in the background. Although I gave this a higher rating, I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to see Cha Eun Woo (which, lets be honest, was the reason for a lot of us.)
THE ENDING EPISODES:
As the series continues, it dragged along. With Lee Bo Gyum being revealed as the "villain." Which, he was kind of stupid. He went after them when it wasn't even them really. It was just more of their brains in their bodies. The memory wipe was unnecessary and so was the whole backstory in general. If it gave small snippets of the story I'm sure I would've understood just fine.
The ending episode didn't add much to the story, just some cute moments.
Overall, this series was okay. Just okay. I wouldn't NOT recommend it, but I wouldn't expect much if you did want to watch it.

Story of Johun+Minhyun
The story was good, I liked of how shy Min-Hyuns character was, but it felt a bit rushed. I get that it's a short BL, but it seemed to move quickly. The plot was confusing at time, and the ending wasn't the best.SPOILERS FOR ENDING
The fact that they killed off Johun when he could've lived madr me upset. I understand that the character felt guilty for the death of his ex, and he didn't want to hurt Min-Hyuns, but he offered for him to take his blood. The ending could of had a better way to end it off instead of killing him. Overall, it was a decent show, and if I had to grade it, it would probably be a C+.

MY PERSONAL WEATHERMAN!!!
This show was probably the thing that kept me going in the week, knowing I can come home, relax, and watch this at the end of the week.Is this show DEFINITELY a 10/10? No. Is it in my eyes? ABSOLUTELY!!!
There are many things that I LOVED, but there were certain things that I didn't like so much.
The ending was a bit confusing. Were they actually TOGETHER?
I always love Japanese BLs (RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE!!) and usually never rate it lower than a 7-8. What was it about this show that made me enjoy it so much? THE CHEMISTRY!!!!
The chemistry between the leads is just outstanding, which lowkey made up for all the misunderstandings.
Some of the scenes were HOT!!! As in like, peeking through my fingers and giggling. THAT TYPE OF HOT!
If I were to give it a lower rating, the reason would be because of the misunderstandings.
The way they couldn't just talk it out infuriated me. A simple discussion would have made the relationship better and stronger. The fear of rejection shouldn't be there in my opinion. Segasaki had obvious feelings for Yoh, IF ONLY HE JUST FOLLOWED BODY LANGUAGE AND FACIAL EXPRESSIONS!!
Overall, this was an amazing JBL, and would definitely recommend. (especially people who like a bit of spicy scenes..) The chemistry is THERE!

''LIFE IS THE FLOWER,,
āLife is the flower for which love is the honey,ā quoted by Victor Hugo, uses a metaphor to express the enriching power of love. In this comparison, life is depicted as a flower : something beautiful, full of potential, and in need of care, while love is likened to honey, the sweet essence that makes the flower even more delightful and meaningful. Honey symbolizes the joy, sweetness, and depth that love brings to life. The message behind the quote is that although life on its own has value and beauty, it is love that truly enhances it, making life more joyful, fulfilling, and deeply connected. Why exactly did I decide to begin my review like this? Well, if you've seen episode 4, you'd know why. But, thats not the only reason. I feel as if the show represents a sweet love, sweet like honey. In this, the flower is Jin. Loved and cared for by Akin. You could argue and say it's the other way around, considering Akin was the one taken care of more, but, either way it gets to the point.
Story:
The series follows Jin, a young actor on the rise, and Akin, a famous star who has been named the āSexiest Man Aliveā five times. As Jin becomes more popular, he catches Akinās attention, and a playful rivalry begins. They tease each other often, but underneath the jokes is a growing attraction. Over time, their relationship becomes deeper and more passionate. The story explores how they deal with their feelings while working in the tough and competitive entertainment industry. Along the way, they face challenges with fame, ambition, and love, learning how to balance their careers and their hearts.
Smart and Boom have strong on-screen chemistry that draws in viewers with a mix of contrast and connection. Smart is playful and full of energy, while Boom is calm and steady, and their differences create a fun back-and-forth that matches their roles in Top Form. Their acting styles also balance each other well. Smart is more spontaneous, and Boom is more careful and controlled, making their scenes feel fresh and exciting. Off-screen, they seem comfortable and close, which helps their emotional and romantic scenes feel natural. Together, they make a powerful team, and fans, like myself, won't stop talking about them anytime soon.
Top form, the thing that made my Thursdays better, I will miss you. I really hope the ending hints at a second season, but who knows? What I DO know is that I hope there will be many more SmartBoon projects in the future. But until then, Ill just have to sit and rewatch Top Form, along with clips of these two cutie together!!

MY HEART SKIPPED A BEAT!!
Gosh, where do I even start? Do I start with the actors, characters, chemistry, or just my overall sadness now that this is ending?STORY: As the Thai boy band Mars prepares to disband, videographer Po grows closer to the bandās lead singer, Thame. In vulnerability, Thame opens up to Po about his tough decision to leave the group and follow his dreams of starting a solo career in South Korea. This choice means heāll have to part ways with his bandmates, and the weight of that decision is clear as Thame struggles with the fear of leaving behind the bond they shared. Po, determined to support Thameās emotional journey, decides to use his ability and help Thame join MARS together once again.
Thame and Po, the couple that captured my heart the second I saw this. This series is a jem, a ruby, a diamond, a sapphire, whatever the most valuable thing you can think of, this series is just that. It is has to be one of, if not THE best combination of a storyline, romance, comedy, entertainment, sneaking, and joy. Whoever wrote this storyline knew what they were doing.
I have watched so many bls within my, what? 2-ish years of discovery, but this, this I cannot believe.
The show does a great job of showing the life of an idol, capturing both the challenges they face in their career and the pressure from their fans. It highlights the hard work and determination needed to balance their busy life with the demands of the entertainment industry, while also dealing with the constant attention from fans, both the good and the difficult parts. The way it shows these struggles feels very real and well done.
The chemistry between the lead actors, William and Est, is amazing. They are a perfect pair, and their on-screen connection is, well, connecting!!! Watching them together is captivating, and their performances bring so much depth to their characters. They truly bring their roles to life, and you can't help but feel for them, whether they are happy or vulnerable. The love makes you feel like they're genuinely IN LOVE. Honestly, who could blame either of them when they have that beautiful man in front of them??
The romance between the idol and the ordinary person is one of the standout parts of the story. It's not just another typical love story. Their relationship is portrayed in a way that feels fresh and genuine. It's full of real emotions and challenges that come from being from different worlds. Their love feels deep and believable, and it's easy to get invested in their journey.
Overall, this isn't just another love story it's a heartfelt romance that keeps you entertained from start to finish. By the end, youāll wish there was more because itās just that good.
The way the show portrays the reality of being a fan is painfully true, even though we may wish it wasn't. As fans, we often forget that idols are human beings with their own emotions and personal lives. Instead, we treat them like they're robots whose only job is to entertain us, pamper us, or even fit into our own fan-created fantasies. It's an uncomfortable truth, but the show does a great job of reflecting how we sometimes place idols on a pedestal, expecting them to be perfect and constantly available to us.
We often overlook that these idols, like everyone else, need time for themselves, and they deserve to be cared for and supported, not just by their fans but also by the people close to them. It's easy for us to fall into the trap of thinking they are there to serve us, as if they don't have their own wants and needs. Unfortunately, this mindset can sometimes make us forget that idols are real people with real struggles, and that they, too, deserve privacy, freedom, and love. While it might seem silly to think of them as being āour slaves,ā it's a harsh reality that some fans expect idols to always be at their service, without ever considering their well-being. The show does a fantastic job of shining a light on this side of fandom, showing just how unfair and one-sided it can be.
Overall, I have so much more to say, yet such little words to use. I cannot begin to explain how sad I will be when I remember Fridays with just be, well, Fridays. Not Thamepo day. Farewell, to Thame, to Po, to LYKN (especially my man Hongš¤). Goodbye to the show that made my heart skip a beat!!

???
Theres no way to sum this up, theres not a singular title that came in mind, but that could be a good thing. This series is better than I couldve imagined. I remember hearing about this and thinking "a Chinese bl?? guess I'll see what it's about!!" and I'm glad I did. I was hooked by the first episode, and have been ever since. Ever since it's started, there hasn't been a singular day that doesn't go by and I don't think about revenged love. Could that be obsession? It very well could be. But if I'm obsessed, then there's obviously a reason.
The story follows Wu Suo Wei, a young man from a modest background, who is belittled by his ex-girlfriend and determined to reinvent himself. When he discovers sheās now dating Chi Cheng, a privileged heir, Suo Wei devises a plan to seduce Chi Cheng as a way to get back at his ex. But as he gets closer, his calculated move unravels into genuine affection, forcing both men to confront their feelings through misunderstandings, emotional growth, and unexpected twists.
With this trope, many romance stories with a revenge setup flip too quickly into affection, but here the slow burn is deliberate. Wu Suo Weiās original intentions plays out with messy realism. The script doesnāt let him drop his grudge overnight, instead, you see the gradual erosion of his resolve as small acts of care, accidental vulnerability, and mutual respect creep in. As they slowly fall in love, you see the chemistry between the two actors. The banter, pranks, and power plays between the two arenāt just sides, theyāre the backbone of their bond. The tension flips between rivalry and affectionate, making each small moment of trust or softness hit harder. Itās a mix of enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, and found vulnerability that keeps you guessing.
Given Chinaās restrictions on explicit BL content, Revenged Love relies on lingering glances, coded dialogue, and physical proximity. Instead of being a limitation, it becomes a strength, the audience is pulled into this series with these leads.
In the end, you're left with wanting more, just like me. It's sad to see these love stories come to an end on the screen, but behind the scenes, theres still so much love to unravel!!! I'll miss revenged love, especially after following this series every single week, but at least I can still rewatch every scene!!
