I m pretty much biassed towards historical dramas just to let myself know i should feel grateful for this era where gender equality is there (though it's not completely). In history you must have read the society was fully patriarchal, a woman needed 100 permissions before voicing out for something let alone fight for her dignity n all.

Well we should feel lucky that we are born in this modern era. I can't even imagine myself in that historical era. Almost all historical dramas follow this ideology bcoz that's how it was back then .

That means after meeting ss his purpose of living seems to be completely based on two emotions - Revenge & Love. No wonder it would definitely have been so difficult to choose one over another. I'm actually curious about his POV regarding his own conflicting feelings

2-SS accepted the proposal as the dying wish of The current Empress to get married n see her happily ever after before her death
3- no before LBY's exile to the Northwest they had already broken off their engagement n just the separation about to over ss got engaged to ys
